It wasn’t until she was walking away and heard Eric say something about “listening to mom” that it dawned on Alexx.
Maybe she didn’t miss her chance after all.
I love those last lines. How it brings the story full circle. I love this fic actually, its so intimate. Sad, but in such a great way.

Oh I loved this story so much. It was heartbreaking and inspiring at the same time. The small snippets of her life just balanced pefectly an the last line just made me smile. Wonderful job and I hope to read more from you soon.
