Unfortunately, Dee was the most underdeveloped and useless character on BSG. Every minor character over the series got a chance to become a major part of the plot line except for her. The writers obviously didn't know what to do with Dee, and her marriage to Apollo was the biggest joke ever. I was upset by how little she was used at first, but then I didn't care because she was just so unimportant. I wondered what was going on behind the scenes - did Kandyse ever complain? Anyway, her suicide was a complete and obviously cop-out for the writers. The sad part is that your the first person I've seen online that cared about it.

Thank you for your review.  I apologize for taking so long to respond.  You're so right.  I think that show writers want to give all viewers someone they recognize and will invest time in to gain an audience but in doing so they then marginalize that character in favor of their main ones and then as you said they become unimportant, except to the fans that are invested in them.  Leave us to fulfil that characters potential through fanfiction.
