Loved the update. Wow, Sunshine really making her moves on Nikki and now he's hooked. He doesn't even realize he's been sucked into a lovefest. Glad to see pops trying to get himself together.

wow i'm glad that he went to the meeting and hope he trys to say sober and clean.  i like   he wanted to keep her smiling and happy as possible  when she went him. hogging the covers lol i do that all the time lol. thanks for the updated.

Thanks for the update love the dialogue between Nikki and Sunny.  I still think that Sergei might mistake sunny nicely for love. 

Cant wait for the story to continue. I do like Sunny and Nikki and I hope it is a real lasting relationship...

If this was a soap opera Nikki and Sunshine would be the next great super couple. I agree the new Sonny and Brenda.

This story makes me enormously happy. Which is perhaps odd, considering our heroine is in a most fragile situation. But it just goes to show that no matter how frightening someone like Nikki can become, we are still rooting for Sunny's love to save him. I got a little teary eyed this chapter. Sunshine and her brother love the dad. Sunshines still cares enough to give him money to get treatment. Very sweet. I hope she realizes how different her live will be with Nikolai. Good work with this chapter. Can't wait for more.

This chapter was so sweet. I like Sunshine and Nikki together.

I so enjoy this story.  I love the way Nikolai handles her and how he is being patient.  More and more it seems he opens up to her.

The ice cream was bought b/c she likes it correct and Sergei knows this.

I like the way she is slowly warming up to him she is still nervous around him though I say this because he says sorry alot when she thinks she has done something that displeases him.

Thanks for answering my question about the time jumps.

I felt so bad for Sergei when she said that he couldn't come and eat pizza with them on the last day. You really know how to bring the emotions through without doing anything really dramatic. I suppose it's because you give the reader such a sense of who the characters are, so it's easy to identify their emotions w/o some grande event happening.  

When Anatoly told Segei not to fall, I am 100% sure that he meant it to have a double meaning for his little brother.  I like Anatoly in this chapter, it's clear that he loves his brother and only wants the best for him.

Sunny likes Sergei, but she's trying hard no to. I also think that she likes Niki more than she's letting on, and it's nice that he can make her laugh.

I just had to chime in on this one...

I absolutely heart these characters...

Sunny...so innocent...yet the circumstances of life have forced her to grow up far too soon...she's mature, brave, and intelligent...all brought about due to sheer necessity...I know that it would be so easy for her to resent Nikki at some point in time (she probably will IMHO)...but she's also intrigued by him...and oh so attracted to him...can she retain her independence but still allow him into her heart...or will her eyes be opened more to the harsh realities of his brutal existence...

Nicolai...I like that he seems to be growing in the sense that he's practicing something that I don't believe was ever in his vocabulary pre-Sunny...patience...the type of lifestyle he leads doesn't lend itself to him trusting anyone...his very survival depends on it...yet, here's this girl that's taking his heart by storm with her innocence and vulnerability...can he learn to truly trust another...or will he smother her and do the one thing he promised himself he wouldn't do...destroy her 'lightness'...I want to root for him...I really do...but dude has some serious control, anger, and possessiveness issues...I would hate for Sunny to get caught up in his wrath if she someday, somehow 'crossed' him...can a man who cannot trust find love and peace...can't wait to read if it is possible...

Sergei...he's really sweet...but he's playing a dangerous game...hope he doesn't let his growing feelings for Sunny cost him...knowing Nikki...his life...she's forbidden fruit as of now and something tells me the more time she spends with Nik...the more deadly the situation will become for Sergei...leave Nikki's 'woman' alone would be my sage advice to him...not because he doesn't deserve someone like Sunny...but Nik's not to be messed with...

Pops is a lost cause...any 'father' who would allow his barely legal daughter to whore herself out to pay off his debts is subhuman...good Sunny had the foresight to remove Benji from that unstable environment...thank goodness Jasmine's influence rubbed off on her kids...lawd help them if Pops was the only example of a 'parent' that either of them had...

Anatoly is a hardened criminal...something tells me that Nik better watch his back...is that ambition I smell in the air...something's definitely up with him...and Darla will be right by his side getting her 'revenge' on Nik if given half the chance...

Great story...I hope your muse sticks around for a long while...love it...can't wait for more...
