Such a talented writer, really you truley are. It doesn't feel cliched or cringey.Blimey, i had to review work like this should not go unrewarded.

The characters are so real for me, i mean the way you have developed them is excellent. Thats i suppose the reason we feel so connected to them.

Okay the relationship between Nikolai and Sunshine ( oh btw i had a dream that i called my daugter that!! I'm totally in love with that name now). So at first i thought to myself maybe they are in LUST with each other. But when he broke his pride, humbled himself, looked into her eyes and knelt before her....i was just awestruck.... gosh it really is love aint it?!

But one thing: He kills people.

I mean come on WAKE UP SUNNY! His job is killing people!! I really don't know if i could be with someone who does that. But you are a talented...beyond talented writer so i know with the magic that is in your fingertips. You will smooth it all over!

I haven't visited this site for a very long time and found your story today.  I'm sure you've already heard this a million times, but I'll say it again.. This is a GREAT story.  Thank you so very much for this. 

Hi, I've been enthralled by this story from the begining, so much so, I had to register to write a review, something I rarely do!  I love the way you've written and described the characters, I feel as if I've known them for ages! 

 Sunny is lovely a real sweetheart whose faith in people is to be admired.   I do have an issue with her which many reviewers do not.  I can't believe she is that 'innocent' not to know what Nikki's business is.  She's witness firsthand her father's beating, the garderner not to mention all the 'darkness' in his eyes regarding any mention of men=Sergei & her ex boyfriend! I don't think I could forget that in a hurry.  Plus the money she receives/gifts are bought with the profit from his shady business, morally I feel this is wrong. Sorry I had to get this off my chest!!!    

Yes Nikki is absolutely sexy and loves her and she him but I agree with 'Intospection' review (23/1) he has to 'explain his dangerous world' to her if he's so intent on being honest so she can make up her mind with all the facts.  Will he get out of the business for her? Start a normal life?  Can't see it happening. Will she continue to ignore what he does when he's not with her?  Can love really conquer all?  I would love to see this discussed between them bc if she returns to him it's not just her life but her brothers life and safety to take into account.  

I  think Sunny was vunerable from the start and now she is 'free' should continue to explore her new found independence alot more. 

I am hoping they can work things out and have a happy ending but they both have a long way to go.

I tried not to fall entranced by them, especially Nikolai, but with these last two chapters you’ve made it damn near impossible not to. Loved their scenes…you’re fabulous with their facial expressions, nuances and body language.

Sergei was never competition. In fact, there hasn’t been a man to rival Nikolai because seriously Jil (omg, what?!)…definitely ain’t it!

I’m intrigued to see how their date goes, and what ‘going public’ really means for them both. How notorious is Nikolai’s reputation or has he contained his general image as a businessman.

I love this story!  I read what you have written so far and I loved it. Keep it up!

Oh I loved this chapter.  I'm glad that Sunny finally realized Sergei's feelings for her.  And that she told him that they will only be friends. I'm sure he won't give up right away.  He's in love too. 

SO, SO, GLAD that Sunny is willing to give Nikki a chance to prove his love. Those two together give me goose bumps.  Their breakup really messed me up.  I'm feeling relieved for now.  I'm sure it won't be smooth sailing after this.

Will you give us any storyline about Sunny's internship?  I've been dying to know what she's studying in school and her career plans. 

Please give us little more Ben once school gets out too.

Progress, Nikolai...sweet progress...can you feel the grin radiating from my fingertips!!!

I heart this chapter...after reading about the heartbreak...angst...and overwhelming sadness...I really didn't know how much more of this I could take...but this chapter gave me something I truly didn't feel in the last few updates...hope...I always believed that these two people loved each other...just couldn't see how they could make their way back to each other...now I hope...

It is a testament to the love that Sunny has for Nikolai that she didn't in all honesty see what Sergei was so blatantly showing he felt for her...now she sees the truth...and I'm so glad that the feelings aren't returned...at least not in a romantic sense...yes, she will always consider him to be her friend...but never anything more...but Sunny is a true friend...and she looked out for him by making sure that he wouldn't be hurt by Nikki because she knows her man...and Nikolai doesn't do sharing for no matter innocent the situation may be...Sergei will do well to take what Sunny said about her feelings for him into advisement...and stop trying to push for more when there's no chance for more...

I'm glad that Sunny is finally getting to experience just being young and carefree...doing age-appropriate things with people her own age...but Sunshine is mature beyond her tender years...and she has a very old and wise soul...she's light-years ahead of the younger crowd she hangs with...and more compatible with the maturity of Nikolai...they are made for each other...

They are simply combustible...thank goodness for that delivery guy because no telling what would have gone down in that kitchen...glad she has agreed to date Nikolai...do normal things like any other couple...I'm looking forward to the courtship of Sunshine by Nikolai...I also loves that Nikolai has learned from his mistakes...he doesn't lie to her anymore...no matter how small...and besides he just can't help himself...she has brought the man...the beast...down to his knees...she is his life...his heart...his soul...

Finally she realized Sergei had feelings for her, and let him know that feelings weren't returned.  I'm glad she did it right away.  If she still has strong feelings for Nikolai it was good to get that out of the way.  She's making Nikolai court her, how cute.  I wonder how far this Jil thing is going to go.  Great Update!

Wow, this update was good! You were right Onimosity, it was less sad, even hopeful. That last scene between Nikki and Sunny almost melted my eyeballs. I felt like such a voyeur, totally loving it too lolol. Phew, yes! I just loved Nikki's moves lol. Sunny didn’t know what hit her. 

I want to answer Sunny question, "What am I doing?" Lol... Well I think she is giving love a chance, testing her feelings for her Nikki. At least that is what I would like to think and it's not the fact that she is going back to the familiar. It would be difficult for her to go from Nikolai to someone else, someone less complex or less intriguing. Even though he is not a carefree like Jil or carry puppy-dog looks like Sergei, his devotion to her and the way he treats her is spellbinding. Nikolai represents the kind of relationship a woman never truly gets over and the one by which all others are measured. Because the simple truth is apart from his one almost unpardonable act, he treated her the way many of us want to be treated. It's like she said, he is hard to get over.

But Nikki would need to understand that it would take a different type of relationship this time around in order for Sunny to be and to stay with him; the kind of relationship that goes beyond him arranging their dates or that very persuasive move he put on her. There is still a part of him that is so closed off from her… the part he feels would dim the light in her eyes. What happens if she inadvertently gets exposed to his world or is placed at risk? What then? How does he expect to keep her then? Or is he going to kill everyone who hurts her or reveals that side of him? One enlightening but destructive conversation between Sergei and Sunny would put an end to that dream of his. He needs to trust her and her feelings for him or he would end up like Mr Coffee – overcome by his ‘darkness’. Sunny is all smiles and fun but she is no weakling. This he knows very well. She just got this prestigious internship, her world has changed and so he has to find his place in her world and so would she in his. It would be better to be a dangerous man with legitimate businesses than one with illegal activities. And it’s time he explains what the hell it’s like for him living in this dark world of his and what the darkness represents. Choices, choices, choices for her Nikki eh? I hope he gets it right this time around.

Ah she is now aware of Sergei's feelings for her. Had it not been for the fact that he was with Nadia and dumped her at the drop of a hat in order to have a chance with Sunny, I would have felt sorry for him. Yeah right. I still don’t trust him. At least now I know for sure she does not return his feelings. Great!

Thanks for sharing Onimosity, my Saturday has just gotten better for having read this update. I would be wearing this wide grin on my face for quite a while…
