I don't know if you know this, but there's no picture for Charles. :)

Author's Response:

The picture is there, but for some reason, you have to reload the page to see him or right click where his image would be and reload the image individually. :) Hope that helps!

Title: Joyeux Noël (Part II)

I really loved this story, dispite all the things James had been through, she was still able to pick herself up and keep going, with the love of a good man.  I can't wait for the sequel, I'm sure Trigger and Pearl will rear their ugly heads again, because money and power must be at the root of why they want James back in their lives.  I only hope that her father deals with them once and for all permanatly, to make up for not being there when she needed him the most.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much. I am glad that you enjoyed the story. :) The sequel with deal with James' new life in Paris, Trigger and Pearl will make their appearances, and quite a few characters will be coming into the picture. Of course, Tristen will be there too as well as James' birth father.

Title: Joyeux Noël (Part II)

i absolutely adored this story. all characters are completely tanglible, the language natural, funny, tense when it needed to be. i'm sorry i missed out on this for so long, but glad i was able to read it all in one sitting. well, two - last night and while at work pretending to work. well done, woman, and i'm excited for the continuation. i want to know how Trigger deals with James' relocation, how Pearl will be affected by it (at Trigger's hands), how Mel fares (love him!), and Xander and Quinn of course. i want them to visit. lol and for the neice? no words. waiting . . .

Author's Response:

All of those situations will be dealt with in All of the Lights. The sequel is going to be much longer than LMD because it introduces so many new characters and ties up any loose ends that weren't answered in LMD. :) Thanks!

Title: Joyeux Noël (Part I)

First off, thank you SO much for updating!  I hadn’t realize how much I’d missed James and Tristan’s story until I was reacquainted with their love-affair.  These characters always make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside…I can’t explain why, they just do.  With that said, I'm completely stoked that they’re pregnant with twins!  Yay!!

James’ apprehension about becoming a mother is understandable but she is NOT her evil breeder.  She will be a wonderful mom and Tristan no doubt will be a loving, protective father.  The moment Tristan learned he’d be a dad twice over was priceless.  As for Madamn  Molyneux…well…all I can is, chick (wouldn’t that just piss her pompous ass off, lol)  is a trip. Thankfully James can handle her even though Adele’s nasty attitude is no-less hurtful.

A couple of questions:  about how far along is James and Pepe is whose father, Adele’s her Tristan’s father’s?

Wonderful chapter!

OH! WHAT AM I THINKING?!!! THE PROPOSAL!  IT WAS AWESOME!!  Please tell me she said yes…

Title: Joyeux Noël (Part II)

I know its not the kids' fault, but I just dont trust anything coming her way in the way of her family right about now. James was right, if these people wanted her in their lives, why didn't any of them ever reach out to her? Instead, she's had to suffer all alone in the world being abused by a crazy mother, and some psycho drug dealing pimp who developed a fatal attraction to her as a kid culminating in his rape of her! Plus, she's had a sibling somewhere, a niece somewhere, and a father; who apparently knew where she was all along, but did nothing for her--that is if one could trust anything Pearl had to say. Maybe the kid just found out about her, and maybe the sibling never knew about her; James didn't know either. The timing just really sucks!

Now, she starting a new life away from all that crap, and here this kid shows up unexpectedly, to potentially bring all that mess with her! Ughh!!

James cant seem to catch a break here.

Author's Response:

You hit it on the nail, but everything involving James' father's family will be explained in sequel. James is a tough cookie though she hits a lot of bumps in the road, she always picks herself back up and climbs over them. :)

Title: Joyeux Noël (Part II)

Well, as always I enjoyed the chapter, from beginning to end. I am glad you let us see into the world of Tristen's family a little. I mean here we have Tristen and Tricia falling in love with American's in which their mother Adele has a problem with, why because of the way she was raised, Instead of seeing the people that her children love all she sees is their nationality. But at the end of the day the siblings chose their hearts over their mother. Good for the both of them. I loved how you showed us James' fear when it came to her marrying him. Basically she never had a chance at with Pearl as a role model. But as Tristen said, I don't want a good wife or a good mother I want you." Those were the most powerful words that Tristen could have said. She might not be the prefect mother or wife but Tristen doesn't want perfect he want James and James will love and protect her family the way she wasn't protected.

I loved how James felt guilty for Tristen and his mother's fight when it's really not about her but his mother's problem. Some of it might stem from the fact that Adele doesn't know James. Tristen and Tricia were both wrong in springing the loves of their lives on their mother. I think is Adele was giving the chance she might have loved Kevin and James because she got to know them. But then again it might not have made a difference. Who knows. I am glad that Tristen told James the truth about their conversation because fact is if James were left up to her own devices she might have left the ring on the night stand while Tristen was sleeping and left so that Tristen and his mother could make up. Tristen needed to tell James the truth and James needed to hear it, Tristen then showed James his heart yet again. And a little love in the afternoon never hurt anyone. Jame braiding Tristen's hair was hilarious. The niece what a suprise and the turn of event. Looking forward to seeing what comes next.

Author's Response:

"I am glad that Tristen told James the truth about their conversation because fact is if James were left up to her own devices she might have left the ring on the night stand while Tristen was sleeping and left so that Tristen and his mother could make up." <-- Let me comment on this particular statement. You are absolutely right. James would have left Tristen, so him and his mom could make up even if killed her to do so. James is that kind of person. She had a family, but she didn't have a family like Tristen. She blames herself for breaking his family apart and wants to bring it back together. She will try to mend the Molyneux family in the sequel. Thanks!

Yipppy! James is pregnant with twins I kind of figured that when she paused with baby :D.

I love this couple and definitely want them to have their hea.

Adele I'm not quit sure as to what I think about her as of yet.  I can say she is a lot better then James' egg donor.  I guess with Tristen being her only son she is very protective of him and wants the best for him that's with any mother with her child she just hasn't realized that James is what's best for him they're what best for each other.

Great update.

Thank you for sharing!

Happy writing can't wait to the next chapters.

Author's Response:

Tristen and James are definitely on their way to having a HEA, they just have to jump a few more hurdles. As for Adele, that is basically what she is doing. Tristen is her only son, so she is very protective of him, but she is letting this protectiveness blind her from seeing that Tristen truly loves and adores James. She might get burned really bad for her attitude before she finally realizes this. Thank you so much! :)

Title: Closure

I have been hoping for an update and thought okay Missus is busy with other things in life,

So I waited and waited and waited some more never getting that email that you had updated. So something made me come and check again and I don't know how in the devil I missed 2 chapters but here I am and my girl James has decided to bounce with her man as she should.  I so want them to leave now not wait...I keep thinking that even though some weight has been lifted from James' shoulders there is something lurking in the background waiting to pounce and do her and her man and child harm.

I still want to know who daddy is and why Pearl had a connection with the niece.

Great update.

Thank you for sharing!

Happy writing.

Author's Response:

That's odd. I apologize that you didn't get emails saying that I updated! But yes, James has finally decided to leave the building with Tristen and now it's new life with their new family in Paris. They've still got some hurdles to jump over, but it's way better than being sitting ducks in America and waiting for Trigger and Pearl to do something stupid. As for who her father is and why Pearl has a connection with the niece, that will definitely be explained in the sequel. I can't fit a complex plot like that in this story, LOL. Thank you so much. :)

Twins! Go big poppa! Haha! *wink-wink*

Adele. Adele. Adele. I want to put Adele in a choke-hole for acting like she has no sense. Whether she likes it or not James and those babies are family. Tristen loves him some James and if she doesn't want to lose that boy she better straighten up.

Love Natalie and Tricia. "When you get some breast." ROTFLMAO! Just wrong, so wrong.

And the ending... awww. Not over the top, it was just them and it was perfect. Any other way, it would have been nice, but I think this way was *kiss fingers* perfecto!

Now... Update! Update! Update! Does she say yes? I know that crazy gal better say yes. *Bucks*

Author's Response:

Don't praiseTristen for getting James pregnant with twins on the first try, LMAO. You're right, James and their babies are family and Adele just needs to accept that, but she won't so easily unless someone knocks some sense into her skull. If she doesn't straighten up her act then she may just lose Tristen.

Natalie and Tricia are fun to right indeed. They treat each other more like sisters than aunt and niece. :) I am glad that you enjoyed the proposal. I thought it would be a wonderful way for Tristen to do it and it pays homage to their first date. Will James say yes? Only the next update will tell! Thanks, chica! :)

Title: Joyeux Noël (Part I)

I'm kinda disappointed with Adele's attitude. James has-and has had-enough contention in her life with mother figures. I'd hoped she'd have an easier time of it with Tristian's mother. She's going to be a mother herself, and I wanted her to have someone in that role in her corner. She's never had that. She's going to want and need that as her pregnancy progresses. Enough of the fighting and bitterness with "mothers" already; whether it be her own, or someone else's. She went there for a fresh start and I just didn't want her to go all the way to Europe only to run to the same crap; to have to fight his mother now, as well! Its like she cant get away from it. She deserves to be able to move on from all that kind of stuff already.

And James just needs to go on and accept Tristians' proposal. It'll be worth it. What's the point in any of the rest otherwise. It is final (hopefully) and it is serious, but so is being a mother; and even more so. Not sure whether she realizes that or not. She should given the way her own mother treated the responsiility. She'll be glad she did in the end.

Author's Response:

Adele is a different breed from Pearl for the main reason is that Adele doesn't like James because she is very protective of Tristen as he is her only son. Though being an American most likely contributes some to her bitterness for James. That is a characteristic that will definitely be worked out through this story and the sequel. I agree that James has had enough with dealing with mothers and it would be nice for her to have someone on her side during the pregnancy. But when people are set in their times, it takes time for them to accept new people and things. But James does have a new start in Europe, but no one said it was going to be perfect, LOL.

I think James probably doesn't know how she feels about marriage because she's never had a good model of what a good marriage is like nor a model of what it takes to be a good wife. This also applies to being a mother. She's never had a good mother, but that isn't going to stop her from trying to be a good mother. Marriage and children are both serious and very final, but at the moment, James feels more comfortable with the idea of having children than marrying Tristen. That may all change though! :)

Wonderful chapter.

Future mother-in-law is going to have a conniption fit.

Congrats to James and Tristen.  James is a one of a kind character and I love her. And Tristen is just perfect. All alpha and protective when he needs to be. yum.

Author's Response:

Adele is most likely going to have a heart attack when she finds out, but there is nothing like yummy drama! ;) Hopefully, James will say yes because she knows that she loves Tristen. Why not tie the knot and be his wife? LOL, Tristen can be very alpha and protective when he needs to be and I think that truly balances out their personalities. Opposites do attract! Thank you so much! :)

Title: Joyeux Noël (Part I)

OK, I have to say I enjoyed this capter very much. James trying to figure out how to tell Tristen that she was havingnot one but two babies was priceless because she was trying to gage his reaction. She was a little scared to tell him because having one is scary enough but two, she must have been freaking out in side. I lovve how Tristen got down on his knees and mad a promise to James belly. Those two really love each other and have been through a lot that the surprise of having twins is a gift they deserve. adele irks the crap out of me because if she took that stick out her butt long enough to get over herself she would see that her son is over the moon in love with James. Just because she had some bad experience with an American, most likely got her heart broken doesn't mean she should take that out on all Americans.

Tricia and Natalie are hilarious and what Tricia said to the child was funny as hell. Natalie should have had a come back for it. But I love how open and loving Tristen's family is to James. His mother might need a shift kick in the ass but hopefully she will come around or be told until she gets some manners her ass aint welcomed.

I might be the only one but I loved the proposal so simple but yet so meaningful all at the same time. Him asking her in French would have had me ripping off his clothes before I gave him my answer but. The surprise look on James' face after her conversation with Tricia was priceless. Tristen loves James very much and him wanting to make her his wife is a beautiful thing.

Looking forward to the next chapter.

P.S. It is Sunday not Saturday, that this was posted. LOL

Author's Response:

James was definitely trying to gauge his reaction. She was terrified out of her mind and wanted to wait until after Christmas to tell him because she feared that if she had told him beforehand that he would be so upset. Luckily, it was quite the opposite. I thought the promise Tristen made to James' belly was very important because yes, he was shocked at the news and yes, he was mad at her for not telling him earlier, he will still love his children and her regardless. Adele is a very unlikeable and misunderstood character who will be explained later on, LOL. For now, she's the evil witch.

Tricia and Natalie are definitely a funny duo. Tristen treats Natalie like a niece, but Tricia treats Natalie like a younger sister, LOL. Natalie should have given a snappy comeback, that will have to wait for later time! As for Tristen's proposal, I shed a few tears as I wrote it because it fit James and Tristen's personalities so perfect. Now we can only wait until the next update. :) Thanks, Tasha!
