I know that's right, Subrina, eating when your emotions are doing up-downs is a definite no-no. I love the sign on her door, it's brilliant. Her Mother is a trip, saying and doing most everything wrong with the best intentions. Which the road to hell, as we all know, is paved with. Goodness, I am enjoying this wild ride. I cannot wait to see what happens after Leesha and Ricky are married.

Poor Leesha. And, yes, that man-crazy mentality came across loud and clear in this chapter. I feel for Subrina, that intuition is unsettling, but there really isn't a thing she can do. Which is really the worst bit of all, right. Not being able to do a damn thing for the people you care most for. It sucks, especially when you know the road their traveling is no good at all.

Hah, her little sisters are hilarious for all the wrong reasons. I am loving it. Ricky has got Leesha wrapped tightly around his littlest finger, the shame. And how do you get engaged and not tell your best friend? Of course, this is just the latest stunt in a long line of Leesha's stunts that I cannot understand. A man, or a woman, is not worth sacrificing every other aspect of your life to have or keep.

Oh, goodness, Leesha! My guess is she didn't read those books; not a page, line or first word. Ricky, the snake, has got that girl's nose wide open, she's not thinking straight, and blind to the Fact that he is trouble. Damn. I do not see this going well for our girl, but that much is obvious from the summary. Poor girl.
I really like Subrina, whose name is rather unique by the way, more than glad that she got rid of that extra weight. I cannot wait to meet her family, they seem like an interesting bunch - if a little low at times. This story is definitely one I can sink my teeth into. Yay.

He is such a big baby! Grow up Ceasar! I also do not like this Dr for Leesha. I know some might be mad at that but I don't care. I feel that Ricky should be pardon for his crimes because he is going to suffer for the rest of his life. Him and Leesha should be given another chance. I think Bree should destroy that recording.

Girl, you definitely in the minority with wanting Leesha and Ricky to get back together. I don't even want that to happen. lol.
In Leesha's case, I feel like she need a clean slate with a man that hasn't done her dirty. It's going to be tough enough for her to forgive Ricky. The fact that he is going to be in prison for the rest of his life and his HIV status are also things that I didn't want to subject Leesha to. She needs a man with LESS drama, THAT'S why I'm hooking her up with the Doc.
Bree can't destroy that recording because it's evidence.

Wooooowwwww...so much has happened since the last time I was able to read!
I have no idea how you did it, but you actually made me feel bad for Ricky. I loved that he made sure his mama was cared for and that he owned up to what he did to Leesha before he lost consciousness. I was sad to see that Ms. Vickie did not make it, but at least she and Ricky made peace with each other before she passed away.
I knew Ceasar was going to be pissed off, and he did not disappoint. My goodness...I hope he can learn to let go and forgive Subrina so they can try and work at a reconcilliation!
I love Avalon and Burt!!! They are such an adorable couple! Thank you so much for allowing her to finally find someone who could love her the way she needs to be loved!
I was also excited to see that Leesha was awake...and WOW you definitely have a hottie for her! LOL...I was thinking earlier that he seemed to be a little too concerned over her case!! :)
I am sad to see this story is drawing to a close, you have done a WONDERFUL job with this story! :)

completely random thought: didn't subrina spend a fortune on leesha's 'funeral'. I'm thinking her job owes her some compensation. As for leesha being alive, now that imo is not the equivalent of the lie that subrina told ceasar. i can't believe that came out of burt's mouth.

Grumpirah, you make good points. I'm going to address that funeral compensation thing soon. As for what Burt said, he basically said the ONLY thing that would get Subrina to drop her anger and focus instead on the blessing of Leesha being alive. Bringing C's name up and their situation helped her to zoom in on what was REALLY important at the point.
