WOW I had to stop everythng I was doing because I was getting sucked into Simone and Cauley's world and the history of their relationship. That was riveting and really exciting....I found myself instantly fascinated by how they came together and what was leading her to hold back and deny what it was thats between them. Cauley is already an enigma to me, I'm very curious about his perspective on their relationship and past. I love the way she begins to surrender to the inevitable in the end.

Loved it. Poor Simone in love with a Viscount, but afraid she wouldn't fit into his world.

Girl that was awesome..beautifully written...the entire feel was exciting. I felt like I was on this moving stage and everything was moving, constant motion, the words, the feelings, the emotion, her inner turmoil, his waiting, his calmness, her fear , her her desire, and her final realization of her true feelings! it was a wonderful ride...I wanted more ...I did not want it to end!!
That was awesomeness...excellent..I never expected that response to the challenge..expertly done..I loved it!!

Oh this was so delish! I love the inner dialogue, and god he was sexy, just smoking on the ciggy and letting the words take on meaning, though she couldn't allow herself to believe the meaning, she was definitely feeling it. Why was she so adament that they didn't work? Was it his money, class, race, it just felt like she was seeking excuses to trust her heart. This is a one-shot but it's definitely not over. There is more story here. I think you tell it!
