I adored they conversation between Todd and Angela...maybe she is his given her questions and the way she wants an answer. Poor Todd trying to talk about the birds and the bees...lol!!

My Choc, I was really torn between making Angie older and keeping her as an infant so it took a while before I decided to age her a little.
You say poor Todd,
I say Poor Angie for believing Todd when he told her he got her from Saks Fifth Ave.. Yes Vange was shadowing every now and then in the background because that's where cowards hide.
As for making her rich or poor, I'm kinda torn, It's not fun to be me right now. lol. but I figured out a way to make everyone get what they want. Just put it at the back of your mind that a divorced Evangeline could be a very bitter woman, Todd might not even stand a chance.

I would like them to meet as Eva being a single, working class, woman with a hellavu apology. Making her into a diva with a husband or poor with a chip on her shoulder would prove that she either A) got worse and became a bigger bitch than before or B) that she hasn't changed at all. Having her be extravagant or underprivelged draws the story out and makes it unpredictable. It would be uber awesome if she just turned into a better woman.

As for being a better woman......you'll still see a bitchy side to this chick in the coming chapters, Vange is still far from the kind of better woman you might want to see. Dyehanna, this was a great update. Angela seems like a beautiful girl too. As to how Todd should meet Evangeline how about Evangeline be successful and divorce. I still want my Tangie to reunited together as one in the end. Like I said before, my Toddy better be happy in the end or else!

With all the women Todd is screwing around with, I dont think it will be hard for him to be all over her but do you really think he's willing to commit, with the experience he had with his ex wife.....lets just hope he's willing to give up the fast life. As for Angie, Isn't she just adorable? I guess one could say she's the one woman that really matters in Todds life, for now, Evangeline is just the bagage that comes with her.

When they reunite Van should have gotten herself together. She should be successful but not rich, living her her life drug free and working hard to be the person she should have been when her daughter was born. She should be thankful that she was able to leave her daughter in the hands of a man she barely knew. Who chose to raise her daughter as his own. Loving her as if he help to create her. But she should be remorseful because she chose to not to stay get clean and help Todd raise her daughter Instead of choosing to leave her with a man she barely knew all for her own selfish reasons.
I hope to read the next chapter soon.

There are a lot of single moms today because some the men who put the seeds in them are too lazy or irresponsible to step up to the plate. she had the choice of having a roof over her head and having a good life working and living with Todd but she refused to do so therefore, it could be said that she's selfish because she left her child to a man who is almost a stranger to her but on the other side, I think everytime she looks at her baby, she remembers how great her life could have been if she had never met the child's father.
It could also be that she doesn't trust herself to do the right thing. {sighs with my head down} I dont know dear, I'm trying to practise some Zen to keep me centered and focused on writing the next chapter. lol. Thanks for the review babe.

So you ask a question at the end I believe under that dope haze of Evangeline she is looking out for her daughter because if she was being truly selfish she would kept the kid and took away Todd's money as well.

Evangeline is being both really. I believe she loves baby Angela more than life itself, but she thinks she is too broken to give Angela the love she needs. Evangeline is also running away from hurt and pain. Evangeline believe she can just forget all her problems, but she really needs some help more than anything. Angela didn't ask to be born nor it is not her fault of her parents faults. Hopefully Evangeline will come to her senses before Angela doesn't want to have anything to her. You got to love Todd in this story. He did what most men wouldn't do at all He's my hero and you better reward Todd for his wonderful heart with love and happiness or it's on Dyehanna!! LOL

Was she raped? That's the impression I'm getting. She definitely needs counseling. I hope she quickly realizes she's acting worst than her mom by abandoning Angela. Angela didn't ask to be born, but she's here now.

Sweet Pea, I'm not sure she's ready to get better, she's still in pain and some wounds just wont heal even with time, we all know about those kind of wounds.
There are some battles that she cant win alone and the sooner she realizes that, the better for everyone. It might take more than a few trips to the shrink's couch. She doesnt feel like facing her problems so she wants the easy way out, in life, there is no such thing as an easy way out all she's doing is running in circles.
Maybe leaving Angela isn't a bad idea for now because she needs to re-invent herself before she can be a good mom.

Evangeline is both i understand not wanted to be a mom i never had the desire myself but there a point in your life you being curel. You killed her father i knwo that hard to live with but you baby gilr should have to suffer for that . then there the other side sometimes it best to give your baby up if you feel in your hearts of hearts that you be a bad mother or father but something tells me van wanted her baby very very bad. thanks for the updated.

Hi wwefanforlife, It's not really the guilt that's killing Vange, it's more of self hatred and the fact that she's always been made to feel not good enough by her mom.

This chapter was good, I noticed how Evangeline kept refering to her daughter as an "IT".

That's an interesting question. In a crazy way, I believe Todd did do the right thing. It seems that he has bonded with Angela though Evangeline havent' yet. We dealing with a broken Evangeline here and I'm looking forward to see if she can break from her heartache or continue to go sink further in self loathing.
