Hold on a minute I need to slap myself a few more times. I'm not sure whether to be shocked they had sex or not. I know they say that matter of life and death can leave the survivors (even if you are the cause of death) horny. Being married to a veteran who served my hubby told me a few stories so I totally get the volcanic and unexpected sex. Mary sure did move from 0 to 60 quite fast and hopefully will prove to save her life. Her resilience is going to be her strength. I'm gonna say it again. He better not be married!

Somethings go without saying, more food yummy. More interaction between Mary and Vico yummier. He is really grooving on her but she seems scared of him. Is it because he's throwing off Mob vibes or because she is afraid of losing her job? Interesting.

You know I have to say this right. You are talking about food one of my favorite subjects in a superb way I can see I will be eating this story up. Loving your characters and can empathize with Mary, but unlike her I did not graduate. Somehow I think she will make it however. The typos were not bad and didn't interrupt the flow. I would offer to beta for you but I've got my work cut out for me. Lovely work so far. Me want more (Cookie Monster Voice).

Vico has fallen in love already. I actually re-read this from the beginning to refresh my memory. Nice to finally read an update. I see that references were made to that Tara chick again in this chapter though her name was not mentioned...it's obvious that she and Vico had something going at one point as well...I'm intrigued by this Donatello character (I love Chazz Palminteri!)....and I wonder what's in store for me as I read the future updates. What is he going to do when he finds out that Vico lied about there not being a witness? In this case, he should have lied (to protect his...I guess woman?) but he made the mistake of not looking Donatello in the eye while he picked imaginary lint from his suit jacket.

I love this story and I could feel the chemistry from the beginning with Mary and Vico. I believe this is more than passion between the two. I believe love is going to be very strong with these two people from different sides of the world.
