I hope that you continue this story. I would like to know more of the backstory on Josephine (i.e. who was the person she stole the money from). I would like to see where this story is going. Hopefully, you update soon.

I don't think I there are enough words to adequately describe how much I love Jake. I love, love that character, and this just made him even more sexy/facinating to me. And I'm digging the new characters, can't wait to see them intereact with each other more.

This story gets better with each update, I can't wait for the next one!

Yay update!

I really enjoy this story.  The background into Jake was insightful - I already liked him as a character, but even more so now.  I liked that he wasn't a completely straight and narrow cop, even if he was good at it.  Makes even him more real.

I also like the element of bringing tertiary characters to reveal more about the main and secondary characters.  

Looking forward to more! Don't leave us hanging!

Exactly how much did Josephine take from whomever? Has the amount been mentioned? Gerard, *cough* I mean Jake is so sexy. I love the line where he's saying he hates her but wants to f*ck her still or something. She infuriates him to no end and he does the same to her. A match made in Hell; pure fire, these two are. Thanks for the background on Josephine. She's a seasoned pro using her body and her sexy wiles to ensnare men. And Jake having her tied up......that's just cause for another rough scene if you know what I mean. Bam! Bam! Bam! All night long. Wake the neighbors. Update soon! This is so good; I want more; I want to 'know' more about her and what's really going on.

Author's Response: It's mentioned towards the end it's something around a couple of million in cash and jewelry (got to love the Melodrama hahaha).  Jake is damn sexy I have such a crush on him!  They definitely have a love hate relationship and it will get even more volatile I imagine.  She is definitely a master manipulator but Jake's not buyin.  There may be some roughness but I'm not 100% sure, Josephine maybe untied for their next incident hahaha.  Sorry you had to wait so long for the update but thank you so much for reading and reviewing!

I am so glad to see an  update, you know I am doing the happy dance. My heart goes out to Josephine, her mother was a sack of shit. Jo back story tugged at my heart, I am intrested to see how she had planned to get away with stealing somebody money. 

Author's Response: I'm doin a happy dance too!  I always love when my creative muse pays me a visit.  Yeah Jo is such a complex character I find it interesting about her how she hated her mom for being a slave to a man and yet she is as well just in a different way and she doesn't even really realize it yet.  Yeah it will be interesting to see how she got the money, who she got it from and whether she gets away with it.  Thanks for reading and the review and the stars and hope you stick with me despite the long wait in the update.

GreatO, this was a phenomenal update! I really love that we got a little backstory on Josephine.  She was a child, forced to grow up too quickly, in order to survive.  Knowing the way she was brought up makes me like her more.

Glad to know she didn't actually hit Jake.

On a side note... I LOLed at the mentioning of Darrell's gheri curl fade... and in the mid 90s! No good!

Can't wait to see what's next! :)
