Title: The Sit Down

That's what I 'm talking about!

All Saul can say is what he wants--buddy, it is no longer about you.

Title: The Sit Down

Wauw. He wanted something different? How low is that. So he is basically saying that he got tired of her and that she wasn't satisfying him anymore? What an ass.  Lynne did the right thing. Divorce is the right solution. He continued his affair for months. And with a psycho girl at that. If it wasn't because Alicia had called and told Lynne, I don't think he would have told Lynne about the affair. He is selfish. Saul does not deserve a second chance.  And counseling will not help if you already made up your mind. To forgive your husband of having an affair is very difficult. It will never be the same no matter what. And you will never be able to trust him 100% anymore. It will always be at the back of your mind. Don't get me wrong. It is possible to forgave, because at some point you will have to move on. But that doesn't mean that you should continue with your marriage or relationship. its better to be apart then. Yes Saul may regret it for the rest of his life. But that is his own fault. He should have kept it in his pants. Now he would have to deal with the consequences of his actions. His tears are too a little to late.

I hope for Saul that he would be able to restore his relationship with his son. I can imagine what Malachi is feeling because my father to cheated on my mom and in the worst way. But I'm also proud of my mom, for leaving and not putting up with his cheating ways. While she loved my dad very much. She also loved herself more and knew that staying with him will never be the same again. She just couldn't get past it. So it was better to let go.Till this day I was never able to see him or respect my dad like I used too. He is my dad, and I will always love him. And while we have a relationship now. He still knows that I will always resent him a little for what he had done to our family.

Title: The Sit Down

Saul, Lynne is giving you what you deserve!  But counseling would be preferable first, get out all of the anger so that they can both move on.  Family counseling so that Cammie and Make can jack his ass up as well. There should be a family tag team!

Author's Response:

Lynne's already made up her mind and there's no going back for her.  His admission was a slap in the face.  No reason would have been okay, but the fact that he continued because Alicia was "different", made her feel like in some way the dam had broken for him and he'd always be looking for something "different".  There's no going back for her.
