But for the warning, please put character death, I was so hurt when Ophelia passed, but I knew someone was going to die when Raymond refused to feel any remorse for his actions regarding raping and setting up Ophelia and in as sense forcing her to put Teddy/Bennie up for adoption. Great story though and love how u introduced Kevin and Alicia.

Sorry tried, but the story does not flow. It tends to jump around a bit. The reasoning for some the actions or reactions are weird and unbelievable. Love a good vampire tale but immortal becoming a vampire. Hmm... I always like a good reasonable original spin to a tale but, well, I've read up to chapter 5. Sorry will have tolet this story go. I hope the back ground story is revised. Will check on it much later.
I hate to be a downer, but keep in mind what is the plot? I guess that is what threw me, it isn't clear and the synopsis is confusing too.

You want reviews, we want updates... plural lol. Very good story, you should cut back on hermonologue of her personal reflections, way too wordy. More dialogue between the two. Now give his personal thoughts of how he became aware of her. Just some suggestions.

Some constructive criticism... umm, I do like the story, but the tone should be adjusted.
Something about the story is off. Either he's a real jerk that is into BDSM (the chain and basement. That was weird just to have her change her clothes?) or he's a possessive man (you're mine to blah blah blah); which I love in a tale.
i think I recognize what it is about this story. It is rushed. You seem to miss some major character adjusting events/moments. His character is now no longer a jerk after kidnapping her earlier in the evening? Slow their budding relationship down. But then this is just my opinion. Anxiously waiting for chapt. 7

I have two things to address, but first my compliments to the author, girl I love this story... And thank you for the many chapters, I am currently at chapter 26.
I stopped to read the reviews to see if any one else had noticed something in the story. In chapter one Jodi was 42. She states she hadn't had sex for 10 yrs, but recalls 5 yrs. ago (her rape) when she was 17 ( a teenager) making her actually 22 and not 42. I am going to assume the 42 was a typo, cause the math confuses me. This is not a put down, I believe sometimes a story changes direction and how it began does not really fit how it continues or concludes.
The comment that was dubious of a plus size Black woman who is a homebody/wallflower/late-bloomer attracting good looking, financially established, interested White men. Well that is a reality which is currently happening with a friend of mine down South. Now in her ally forties she has 2 Black men and 1 White guy each vying to be her man. She confided in me that she was taken aback by all the attention, like 'where were these guys years ago?' I told her to enjoy it and that she was due.
