Every one has a story to share. It's all about penning it. This challenge is to share a drabble, poem, one chapter, or a multi-chapter story of a Coming of Age -- original fiction tale only. Inspired by the theme back to school, this season should bring a lot of memories, thoughts, and what if moments. Give it life!

The summer movie season may be winding down, but it’s just heating up here at The Chamber. This month, we’re challenging our authors to write a story based on one of their favorite films. Whether it’s a fan fiction featuring movie characters or an original work based on the film’s plotline, it’s all up to you. Just make sure the silver screen is the inspiration for your story.

Every month The Chamber extends a challenge to our authors to write according a special theme or genre. In honor of our one year anniversary, we’re extending the ultimate challenge, a chance to win a $25 gift card from amazon.com and be named our Ultimate Reader and/or Ultimate Writer for the month of July!
The rules are simple. Starting July 1st, the author who posts the most completed stories and the reader who posts the most reviews during the month of July will win the top prize. Bring two people together with a bang!
Everyone loves a man in uniform. Be it a military man, your neighborhood beat cop or firefighter. An avid fan of the men who promise to protect and serve, I'm more interested in the women protecting and serving them.
It takes a lot to be the woman behind the man, many of us know that, but I want to read some fiction about the lengths a good woman is willing to go for her man in uniform.
A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out. This month we’re challenging our authors to write about the ups and downs of true friendship. Fan fiction or original story, it’s up to you, just as long as friendship is the focus of your story.

How creepy can you make it?
The challenge is simple--give us your best, creepy, scary story--original or fanfiction to celebrate the month of October. Anything goes with this one just as long as it goes bump in the night. Ghost, goblins, vamps or slashers, bring 'em all on for this challenge. Happy scaring! 
There are tons of characters on the site in desperate need of their own fanfic. For this challenge, you need only to pick a Chamber lady whose yet to have her story told. One shot or multi-chapter, cannon, off cannon, even AU, it's all up to you. The only rule is she can't already have a fic under her name.
Write a story (original fiction or fan fiction, your choice) that's framed around your favorite song. The only rule is you must include the lyrics somewhere in your story. How you do that is completely up to you. Throwing down the gauntlet ladies, who's up for a challenge?
