Alana clearly has issues that cause her to lead a very structured life and somehow her connection to Charlie could help her break free from these constraints she has placed on herself.  So I like the story idea as it seems original to me and it's definitely different from the story New Home.

This story is similar to New Home but different too.  Alana seems to have a form of OCD so her back story could be interesting.

Yes, the first impression was reminds me of "a New Home" which just recently wrapped up. Still the characters are already very different.

Don't be afraid to get someone to edit for you. it may slow you down a day or so with posting, but it should be worth it.

Alqna was abused growing up. Charlie being in her life is helping not focus on time so much. I wondet what Charlie's story is? Does he have a family, parents, siblings?  So awesome!

Reminds me a lot of jonara2010's "A new home" but I know you didn't rip it off. It sounds really interesting though, great start!

Does Alana have OCD?  Was she abused as a child?  That is really nice of her to buy Charlie food and drinks, although that other dude can kick rocks! Can't wait to find out Charlie's story. More please? !

It does? I just came up with recently after seeing a woman chat with a homeless Man. I thought how cute.. let me know if you know what the name of that story that seems familiar with mines. I don't want people thinking I ripped it off from another author.
