This man makes my butt itch!!! I'm not liking Hunter at all. He would have to do something human and spectacular for me to like him just a little bit. She's doing all the work while this fool is acting like he on vacation. Maybe he needs someone In his life to tell him no, because he don't have a clue. Let him keep on he's going to eat something that going to make him sick and the only person to help him will be that"Bitter black bitch" that's stuck on the Island with him. This woman has been working In hostile territory, no wonder she didn't have any empathy for her dead co-worker. I can just imagine have more people survived what her life would have been like. Actually I think I might use that for a plot line though I would have to see what Hunter could get sick or injured from. Hunter is going to come around eventually with time it still very early and needs time to develop a new outlook.

It's a good thing that reliable food source as well as fresh water was found since Hunter can't seem to get it through his thick skull that they are not going to be rescued any time soon. This chapter spoke volumes on the dynamics of the two families. The grandmother of Anika and her young brothers are a family anyone would be blessed to have so much love and strength. As while Sterling's family is a house divided. The father sounds like a nice man and knows the history of his employees shows a man with caring feelings for his fellow man. However, the mom is a piece of work. Her thinking is what Sterling is on the surface and beneath that layer I hope is the father'S influence. This is truly shaping up to be quite a gem of a story. Great start so fatr, Hunter is a Douche Bag, but I see that he gets it from his mother, she made him seem like everything in life is Handed to him b/c of his Pedigree... as for the father, I wonder if he was kinda forced to marry Corrine b/c shes a Blue Blood, he doesn't seem to share her views at all.
I know that Anika and Hunter are going to be very different after sharing this ordeal together... OH and I know that after losing her parents and the responsiblies that she has taken on Anika has a hard heart... Can't wait to read more.

I think Hunter is going to be knocked off his high horse when reality sets in and he realizes that helicopter isn't coming for a very long time. I agree with the commenter below Hunter would die without Ankia and even if she were alone she would find a way to survive. 200 days is a long time to go while being arrogant and stubborn. Also will Hunter and Anika eventually address each other by thier first names? It will definitely bring them closer because it seems like a wall right now.

I really like it so far. It's a good idea and I'm going to keep reading. But...Sterling junior is a brat. Doesn't have a nice attitude no manners and he's 26! Hopefully being stranded will change his personality, outlook and attitude. His mother Corrine she ain't nice at all. But I do like Anika I hope she stays strong, and I also like her grandmother and brothers and Sterling senior. Looking forward to an update.

Hunter is a serious douchebag but apparently he gets it from his mom. I hope Hunter gets a serious attitude adjustment and he realizes he needs Anika way more than she needs him because I think he'd die on that island without her. I'm happy that Anika's grandmother and her brother's are standing on faith. I'm having a little empathy and sympathy for Mr. Sterling but not his wife. How Is she going to put a dollar amount on human life.
