Wow...I guess grandma and ma are not on the same page where Gage Colton is concerned...I'm not liking Violet but her heart is in the right place...I just think she went about it the wrong way...there's what she wants and then there is Mercy's life which belongs to Mercy...she is right that Mercy should not put her life on hold for Gage especially as someone she used to hate...but why can't she have both Gage and career...what does Gage plan on doing with his life or is the oilrig it for him...so many questions but Mercy and Gage are just getting started so there is time for them to decide the path of their relationship...and it should be their decision not Violet's...but she's right if they are thinking long term then it's a conversation that needs to be had...I'm just glad to see Gage thinking about Mercy and her wants/needs...let's see how he handles this latest "problem"...such a good chapter...

Interesting turn of events. I understand her mom's concern about Mercy's future, but to discourage her from a relationship because of someone who is a hard worker is a bit extreme. Seems it's time both Gage and Mercy had a serious heart to hear about where they want things to go. Thanks for the update!

Mercy has a serious problem. However, all problems have answers. First like her mother said, Mercy may need a little push from the nest to become what she was intended to do in life. However, I think she needs to talk to Gage about what her mother said. He may have a genuine mature answer.
I believe Gage genuinely loves Mercy and she loves him. That hate they had in school was really the love bug.
Mercy finding a job outside of her hometown doesn't necessarily mean giving up Gage. This might be what she and Gage needs. He may want to leave what he's doing and even relocate.
