Yay! The one thing I had always wanted to be different from the first version was Mercy's dream of independence and career realized with becoming a wife and mother. I didn't want that to get completely lost. She never lived on her own and kinda discovered herself, but this will do.

I have read this story so many times and it is one of my favorites. I love how Gage is always by Mercy's side and willing to go above and beyond the call of duty for her.
