That was so funny and oddlyy sexy!! I love this quirky girl Maxine..I swear she seems like somebody I knoow..so funny and kinda smart ass..I love her!

I kinda got my idea on who killed Claudia but I will just ride this wonderful story out to see if I am right!!

You are such a gifted writer sweetie..you make these folks so real..they really seem like people we already know!!

I'm enjoying this story! Maxine is a trip.  I like Theresa as well. I'mma need for Maxie her to let the police do their jobs, though.  Nevertheless, I'll enjoy reading her shenanigans.

Will the young detective be a snag in the romance between Chris and Maxie? He's yummy.  Still, Chris trumps yummy detective because he has history.

It's so interesting.....when I read your description of Chris, the first image that popped into my mind was Adam Rodriguez.  Lo, and behold, I see his picture as inspiration for the character in the next chapter.  Serendipity!

Looking forward to reading more!

 



Author's Response: I got to have a little sexy conflict with the detective. :) And I'm glad the picture worked with the description. When I started writing this, he was the first person I thought of for Chris (watching CSI: Miami at the time didn't help either!) Thanks!

I really don't like Officer Green, he was entirely to hard on her.  She did faint, a person who faints when finding a dead body is not capable of killing.   I am loving Chris and Chris is loving him some Maxie.  Thanks for the new chapter.
