Very interesting story!
Not a fan of the drunken rantings. It make its seems like she's off the wagon and dependent on the drinks to get through any emotional turmoil when in fact she does have a right to question what his family does for a living. Her being drunk gives him an excuse to belittle her questions and feelings on the matter.

In the beginning of the chapter I did think that Ellie was being annoying as hell with not knowing what to wear and stuff. But after that I don't think she was bitchy at all. She just wants to know what kind of work her FIANCE does. Especially if he is being so secretive about it. Yes, its a shame that she has to be drunk to have some courage to stand up for herself. But she is right. She has a right to know. And I'm not surprised that their fight was this intense because she did say that if they fight it was explosive. And these are to people that used to hate and find each other annoying.
I'm very curios at how these two started to date each other. Because honestly Nick is such an arrogant jerk. I honestly don't know that to think of him. It doesn't seem like he likes Ellie very much, let alone love her. Its like he is with her just to piss his family off. Does he have feelings for her?? He talks to her like she is dumb sometimes.
What does she see in him?? What made her fall in love with him, because she knows how much of a man whore he was, and how he used and abused a distant friend of her. So i'm very surprised she got involved with him. And is he really abusive?? If he was with her friend, then I'm not surprised if he does abused Ellie sometimes. What a douche!!!
I hope the next chap will be up soon. Its getting interesting.

I think nick is a complicated character. He has trouble showing emotion due to what he has grown up around. I think that's why he is so messed up. His feelings for Ellie will become clearer in the coming chapters I feel. I think the audience will also be able to understand why she loves him, because right now he is coming off as a complete asshole that is not worth her time.

The argument was well written, and if Ellie was as smart as I think she is...she needs to show him what's up. Cause I have yet gotten the vibe that he really loves her, it's more of a like an f you to his family because he's marrying her.
I think Ellie needs to make him realize that she's his world. Don't know how she will do that, but anyhoo Ellie is growing on me. Nico not so much..yet.

Thank you. I really struggled with it! I was worried that it came off rushed and forced and didnt move smovely. Seriously you saying that it was well written means so much to me. I think in the coming chapters Nick is going to explain himself, right now he comes off as a total douche and very unlikeable to the audience, but i hope as the story develops and the audience learns more about him they will begin to understand him and how he operates. There is more to come!!!
I'm gonna try my best to update asap. I already have plans for the next few chapters, now i just have to start typing it up.

loving the choice of character but I was just wondering if the Lead female Ellie was surposed to be half asiian, becuase the girl herself Chanel Iman is half black half asian

No she actually isnt supposed to be half asian. Actually when I imagine her I imagine her darker than Chanel. Chanel Iman was just the closest person I could think of for what Ellie looks like. I struggled a lot when picking out a picture for Ellie. I wanted her to be beautiful, but not over the top though and very humble looking if you know what i mean. This is the best example I could come up with, though it still isnt exaclty a complete match of what she looks like.
