Kayla and Tyler are both childish and argumentative. So far, they've done nothing but argue over damn near everything - but that last fight was an entirely different animal. It wasn't one of them whining about phone messages or other friendships or television shows. Tyler out and out called his pregnant girlfriend a liar and a whore and accused her of trying to push another man's baby onto him. That was just way, WAY over the line and after that, Kayla has every right to take time to reevaluate their relationship especially since, if I'm reading the timeline of this story correctly, less than a week has gone by since the blow-up.

Tyler seems to have a history of jealousy/trust issues with Kayla which is understandable given the way they met, but not something that anyone should have to deal with on a regular basis. If Tyler's reaction is so over-the-top hurtful, what's to stop him from reacting that way every time his trust button is pushed? They definitely both need to dial down the junior high and really talk about their issues and concerns...but is dinner on Valentine's Day REALLY the time and place for that?

What Tyler had said was hurtful, but I think that Kayla is being kind of childish. Sometimes I just find her stupid and immature. She really needs to talk to Tyler. If she can't forget and forgive him for what he had said then she needs to talk to him and break things of officially. Its not right to string him along and thinking that he still has a chance. If she is not willing to forgive him then she needs to tell him that so that he can move on. This is not about Kayla being strong or giving in to easily. Ignoring the problem will not let it go away. Communication is the key. They don't have to fall in to each others arms and continue where they left off. But they do need to TALK like to MATURE people. Let everything out. And besides, they are going to have a kid together, which should be their main concern. And Kayla ignoring Tyler is not going to make it better. Damn Kayla just works on my nerves sometimes.

Wow! I know what Tyler said was hurtful, but Kayla does need to talk to him and let him know how she feels.  If it's over (which I doubt) then she should tell him and they talk about shared custody.  Otherwise they need to discuss what needs to be done to fix it.

Since he said that thing about his mother, I think Tyler should face his mother and tell her that he loves Kayla, is going to get married, and if she can't accept them and their baby, then she's chosen not to be a part of her son's life.  He needs to make a stand and let Kayla know that he's on her side! I feel that once his mother realizes that he's serious, she's going to do a serious attitude adjustment where she will at least be civil to Kayla.

Tyler seems to have a problem with his temper which really needs to end. Kayla - to paraphrase something I read in an Erosa Knowles novel once - needs to teach him right now that he can't just say any old hurtful thing he wants in the heat of anger and then expect that an apology is gonna make it ok. Tyler slept with a virgin with no birth control and was then surprised that she turned up pregnant? Is he that stupid? Then he told the mother of his child (the woman that he supposedly loves and respects) that his mother was right about her - meaning that Kayla is a lying, golddigging whore - and expects that his piddling 'I'm sorry baby' is supposed to make that ok? Yeah right.

OMG! Who would have thought men would gossip as much as women? Now that is what happens when Men try to help each other out! They make a freakin mess of everything instead of letting the women handle things...Ok I know Tyler didn't mean what he said...but boy if he wants to have a very unhappy life...keep agreeing with his momma about his woman/wife and he will be very unhappy! Ok let Kayla be mad a week at the most and let Tyler beg for atleast a month before she takes him back. Please.....I LOVE ME SOME THEM!

That's all Steve got?  I was hoping he would have maybe gotten his windshield broken or maybe his arm.  Anyway great update!

It seems that Steve still wants to beleive what he wants to believe.  He believes that liar over his own woman which is wrong. 

I think Tyler just reacted in the moment.  He's going to have to do some serious groveling to make up.  Kayla needs to think about if the roles were reversed and she walked in on a woman claiming that she was pregnant by Tyler and it was really a lie, how would she react.  Hmmmm

I like the fact that you focus on writing one story at a time and give your very best. Hopefully, Aaron and the beautiful Veronica will be next in line after this.

I can't believe Tyler, first of all, said the things that he said to and about Kayla, but Mike is dead wrong for what he did to both Kayla and Tyler. However, the person that is really to blame for all of this is Steve because it was none of his business to tell Mike, who was no longer involved with Kayla, anything about her health or physical condition, he had no idea whether or not they actually had a sexual relationship to be assuming that the child she is carrying was even Mike's.

But please work on correcting those run-on sentences. Punctuations exist for a reason.

If words could break one's heart into thousand pieces, then Tyler's mindless and hurtful accusations have just succeeded to do that to Kayla's. Kudos to Kayla for calling it off with him. She owed Tyler no explanation when he could not even trust her in the first place. I want to see him going crazy wondering whose the father as he will definately bump into Kayla regularly in the office building while her tummy gets bigger. And make him come crawling back to her begging for forgiveness when he finds out the truth eventually.
