I like this story, as your writing is rather evocative of Arthurian legend.  I thoroughly enjoy Arthur and Gwen on the TV series Merlin, but I'm pleased that Gwen is no servant. Morgana is more sympathetic, which is nice also. 

That said, I think this chapter needs some serious editing.  There were several sentences and quotes repeated, and it appears that some passages are mixed up in terms of what's happening.  It throws off the pacing significantly.  I was very confused about what was going on until I got to the end of the chapter.
