That was some ARWEN hotness! It's tragic to see them pine and long for each other but are unable to be together because too many impediments stand in their way! Too bad Uther will never approve of Arthur marrying a foreign princess since he believes she carries the legacy of magic in her blood! Will ARWEN fight for their love though? If they do, the obstacles will be many and they will start with Morgana, Morgause, and the Dark Fire!
Who is this Dark Fire entity? Why was Morgana chosen to beget this demon child? Does Gwen believes she can save her friend even if the darkness has taken over her soul? Why isn't Gwen blessed with divine powers to combat the future evil which will threaten Albion?
Thank goodness ARWEN are communicative and share some confidences with each other! Since they are destined to be one for the other then no secrets should be kept between them! Guinevere could teach Arthur things aren't all black and white and he shouldn't see them in that perspective.
Does Merlin feel the presence of evil surrounding Morgana as well? What does he thinks of her pregnancy?

You're writing as always is lovely and evocative. The relationship you are building between Arthur and Gwen is beautiful and sweet. The way that they are moving forward and holding back creates wondeful tension. I feel sorry for Morgana she seems destined to be both tooll and villian in modern takes on the legend.

I really don't have the words to say how much I loved this chapter. The mix of fear, humor, sensuality, lust,,,, it was all there and it was perfect. I loved it it all. Truly an excellent update.
Any future references to Arthur's jaw line? That is my favorite feature on Bradley....
