I guess Giselle felt the need to let Chris know about her best friend. It might have been wrong, as this could influence Chris' attitude towards Allegra, but it kind of showed that Allegra didn't want him to know because she didn't want to influence him.

Welcome back and Congratulations on your award! I got so excited when I saw that you had updated. Admittedly, when I saw the name of the chapter I thought that Allegra had gotten pregnant by Chris on that last nite and kept it secret from him. But I was thankfully wrong. I'm happy that Chris got the chance to confront his father and let him know that he will no longer let his father's negative feelings affect him. After verbally abusing him for years, I know that he didn't think a simple apology would suffice?! I'm also glad that Allegra apologized and the tables have turned. I hope that we get a little more detailed glimpse into what happened with her during this year. She's still somewhat of a mystery to me. I'm so proud of Chris and can't wait for more.

You're probably going to get detailed information about Allegra's year through her memories and her friends, however, I don't think I'll write something in her POV. I always tend to change POVs when I write stories, but for once I want to be consistent. I might post her life during the past year as independent from this story. But I can't promise anything.

Chris is so much more settled within himself, he is now happy in his own skin. I love the new Chris. He was much too good for Allegra before but now he's on a differend plain of existence. I am gald that explained herself but now it just may be a case of a little to late. I am glad that he told Allegra that she must hearn his trust back and I hope that she takes that seriously. She needs to make the effort and that means she must travel to whereever he is in Europe.
Thank you for the update and I am so glad that his sperm has gotten some therapy and that he apologize to his son. Maybe Chris will want to be his son in more that name and biology but in the heart and mind. So awesome!!!

It will take ages for Chris to actually build a relationship with his father. He still doesn't believe him, nor trust him, which is understandable.
About Allegra...she finally admitted to him that she's in love with him. Everyone knew ages before but thank Lord she managed to believe in her feelings and not feel guilty about how she feels for Chris.
I don't know what the future has in store for them. Chris might decide that he is happy now as he is, or we could see him a few years from now with his imaginary children now a reality. We'll see how it will go.

Wow. His mother died literally saving his life. His father subsequently blames Chris for her death and became verbally abusive. He sounds like he is truly trying to work thru his issues while giving back to those who are so much in need. Chris is finally growing up. And that's probably the only thing I wanted him to achieve. Allegra might be someone in his future, but at the moment I only want him to be happy with himself. Next chapter Chris will be transformed more outgoing, more fun, but still oblivious to everything that goes around him.
I'm going to try and write the next chapter on paper so maybe I'll be able to post it sooner as I would have to just copy it.

Ashna, is so sweet to offer him the comfort of someone he could call mom. Dad would have done the same thing if he had been the one with his son, when the accident happened. We protect our kids, I do not understand the hatred of his son. He abused him to top it off, it would be hard to forgive him. I would have a long talk with him, however and get everything off my chest.

I don't think you'll ever see an Allegra's POV, even though this story was originially told by her POV. I know right? I wrote the first chapter as Allegra and then I decided that the male's side of the story is always wronged and so I took up the task of writing as Chris. I don't regret it because I absolutely love him and adore him he is my brain's child after all. Lol.
