Am I the only one that thinks Trent is a Grade-A asshole? Man, I can't stand his ass! Anyway, great update... I hope Nyla tells Gavin soon, I hate it when people lie & keep secrets that can cause issues that could have been avoided.

Nyla just tell him. He's going to find out any way and it won't be good! They are so close to a great relationship I don't want Nyla to ruin it. Fab chapter!  

I think this is the wrong way to go about this on Nyla's part. Tell him. It was a ONS; they are what they are. Everybody knows this. Is it Gavin's business, really, no. But the situation calls for full disclosure because not doing so just makes it worse. Is it awkward as hell running into your one and only ONS like that? Yes. Is it disconcerting to also discover that your ONS is the best friend of the man you are currently dating and in love with? Yes. But they are adults here. I seriously doubt Gavin is going to hold that against her or judge her on something that happened before they even met. Of course he isn't going to be pleased that his best friend has intimate knowledge of the woman he loves...literally, but there it is. It going to be uncomfortable more for Gavin and Trent than anyone else. Nyla barely remembered him and it was during a devastating time in her life. My concern is that this doesn't move her backwards in her therapy progress. I don't want all her hard work undone by that prick Trent.

Speaking of Trent, he is the one that puzzles me. The fact that he would suggest they hook up again now knowing what's going on says more about him than Nyla. He seems to think that he has her pegged, when in reality, he knows nothing about her or what happened to her in any great detail. He's showing a kind of hostility towards Nyla because of this ONS, for some reason. Again, they are all adults here so what's his problem?
