I'm happy he finally confronted her. You can't have a relationship without trust, and you can't have trust without honesty.
I never understood her reasoning behind keeping everything concerning Greg and her life before meeting Gavin a secret. You're moving on to a new relationship and I understand the loss of a husband and child, but bringing excess baggage along will end the relationship before it begins. Gavin has been understanding and supportive, so I don't get it.
I also think Gavin is a saint, because I wouldn't be with someone that long and put up with that kinda shit. You are not the person you are today without having gone through the things you've been through. So be honest about those things or move the hell on... Thats how I see it.
I hope Nyla finally removes her head from her ass before she loses Gavin for good.

Oh hell! I hate it when "we" try to stand our ground and try to be tough and be evasive instead of just coming out with the truth instead of trying to prove a point! "He can't tell me what to do!" BS that is why we end up being alone. Please remind Nyla, that they love each other, and to forgo, all the heartache!

Nyla is pissing me off. Its to the point where I want to just jump in to the story and slap her. I totally understand that she had lost her husband and child. But she made the choice to be in a relationship with Gavin and her with her stupid secrets all the damn time is going to ruined it. Why is she still so secretive? At this point I'm asking myself why he is still bothering with her. I'm trying to understand Nyla and be compassionate, but she is making it difficult. Sometimes it seems as if she doesn't care about Gavin's feelings at all. She says she loves Gavin, so then why did she not tell him about Greg's memorial? She keeps hiding things from him, its no wonder that he doesn't trust her and has some insecurities when it comes to their relationship. Why is it so difficult for Nyla to open her mouth and explain who Malik is? I wouldn't blame Gavin if he decides to leave her. In fact I'm all up for him leaving her ass if she wants to continue with her secret ways.

Tina is a jealous ho and I am so gals that Gavin had her tossed out on her jealous ass! Why is NY LA so secretive still? If she loves Gavin why did she keep the memorial for Greg to herself? I want my HEA and Nyla is pissing me off. Do you know that you went from chapter 19 to 21? Is it just a typo? What were your issues with this chapter? It was well written, but Bylaws"a forward progress has all but ended in this chapter. That is my frustration!

Great chapter. I think Nyla should come clean and tell Gavin the truth and close that chapter in her life. Also Gavin should tell Nyla about her sister. Then they can get married and have babies!!! Nyla needs closer.
