Alex & Tyler - talk about rollacoaster. sometimes they're at an all-time high and really happy together but then something happens, usually Tyler screwing it up and down they go...! but even so they both refuse to give up and keep on trying - but for how long? something gots to give - they can't keep this up forever...!

I agree completly. This kind of rollercoaster needs to come to an end. They should either decide to be together forever, or break up forever. This state of limbo isn't doing anything else other than weakening their relationship and feeding Tyler's paranoias and phobia.
I wished that I had updated sooner. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. However, this time off has helped me figure out where I want this story to go.

I'm sorry but the more I read this, the less I like Alex. I seriously can't stand her. She can't be that naive or clueless. I'm sure that deep down she must have suspected that Lucas likes her. Tyler deserves better than this. He has some issues that he and he alone needs to work on. Its obvious that he needs help. But I also think that staying with Alex is a mistake. He does not trust her, and to be honest, he has every right to. Excuse my language but she is being a bitch towards Tyler. It seems to me that she cares more about Lucas then her own boyfriend. I'm not saying that Lucas is bad for her but in my opinion, he is not being a good friend either. Real friends does not do this. Real friends respect you when you already have a relationship no matter how in love they are with you. If Alex was single and he wants to make a move on her, then that's okay. There is nothing wrong with that if she was single. But in this case, she has a boyfriend. If Tyler is a jerk with trust issues doesn't matter. Its not his business, so he needs to stay out of it. He should respect that and back off. If he was in Tyler's place, I'm sure that he wouldn't appreciate it if his woman has a friend who wants more than a friendship from her. Lucas is in the wrong here. He doesn't have to like Tyler. But he does have to respect him as his friend's boyfriend/fiance.
Tyler needs to man up and leave Alex. If she is so confused and scared to make a decision, then he needs to make it for her by leaving her. Its clearly that from the beginning Alex doesn't care about his feelings. I'm not saying that she should have stopped talking to Lucas, but if your FIANCE has some trouble with you hanging out too much with a guy friend, then I do think that you have to start hang out a little less with that friend. Especially if she is too close to him. Its obvious that the way that Alex treats Lucas is a little too much for just a friendship. everyone can see it. The minute you decided to accept a man's marriage proposal its because you love him and wants to spend the rest of your life with him. He is supposed to not only be your lover, but also your best friend. So if you are in love with your man, it shouldn't be that big of a deal to hang out less with a guy friend, right? Because your husband is suppose to be more important. That is why you accepted to marry him.
I too don't like that Tyler has trust issue, but I don't blame him. I'm still taking his side because I don't think he wants to control her life or keeping her from talking to another person. I'm sure he wouldn't mind if Alex has other male friends. It becomes a problem when this male friend has romantic feelings for his woman. Every other man in his place would feel the same way. And its frustrating how he and everyone else can see that Lucas loves Alex more than just friends, and Alex doesn't. Tyler walks in on her and Lucas kissing, and instead of staying with Tyler and letting someone else take Lucas home, what does she do? She takes Lucas home herself and accept his kisses, take cares of him. What is this woman doing? What about Tyler and his feelings? I'm sorry but Tyler should give her a piece of mind and leave her ass for her best friend who she obviously care sooo much about.

Both Lucas and Alex are disgusting. Lucas may be nice and all, but he needs to learn to back off. I get that he is in love with Alex, but he needs to respect the fact that she is in a relationship with someone else. Because clearly if she really liked him he would have been with him. Its obvious to everyone that Lucas likes her. Everyone tells her that, but yet she is still insisting that its not true. She is in denial and playing stupid. As a woman, you know when a man has more interest in you than a simple friendship. And more so when everyone can see it and keeps telling you about it. We just choose to deny or ignore it when we are not interesting or when we are confuse and wants to keep play stupid.
But I don't feel sorry for Lucas either. He knows that she already has a boyfriend. So why insisting on wanting and trying to be with someone who is already with someone else, instead of trying to move on. I don't think I will every understand that. So the right thing to do is back off. Especially if he is so in love with her. It must hurt him to see her with someone who is not him, so why torture himself like this. Plus if he really considered her to be his friend and wants what is best for her, he would respect her relationship no matter how bad it may seems. Instead of giving her problems and confusing thins like he just did right now.
I'm sorry but Alex is acting like a bitch. I REALLY want Tyler to leave her. I don't care how many trust issues her partner has. Cheating is cheating. And that is exactly what she is doing right now. And clearly Tyler has every right not to trust her. She seems more concern for Lucas then her own boyfriend. Lucas is a grown man who can take care of himself. I can understand that he is her friend and that she may be concern about him. But I mean come on. Is she really this heartless? She already knows that Tyler does not trust her and Lucas together. If she is confuse about her feelings, she needs to be honest with Tyler and break things of to clear her mind so that she can find out what she truly wants.

I agree with everything you said. Lucas is too desperate. I can understand that he believes that Alex is his soulmate, the one, but if you love someone you kind of want their happiness above yours. He should have more respect for Alex and her relationship with Tyler.
And Alex prefers to act clueless instead of facing her fears. She claims that Tyler runs away from his problems but she does exactly the same. Maybe she needs to see someone as well. What she did was awful, and I hope that she truly regrets it and talks to Tyler about it. She single-handedly confirmed every doubt Tyler has ever had. If she wants to be with him, she needs to sort out what she wants and be true to him.

I am so frustrated by Alex and love for a man who is incapable of truly loving her and denial of knowing that Lucas is in love with her. I am team Lucas all the way bring him a love that true and not shady. Alex or Lexi is shady as hell! Tyler and Alex deserve each other so they should continue to make each miserable while Lucas finds true love. I can make feel loads better!

I might be the only one that likes Tyler, but this is ridiculous at the amount of hoops that he has to jump through to please Alex, her family, her friends, and Lucas can get away with being an ass because he's drunk. I don't see Tyler breaking up with Alex any time soon. However, I do agree with you. It seems that a break-up might be better for the two of them. Alex is clearly confused and she has feelings for Lucas. It is clear as the day, even though she does not want to acknowledge the fact. She needs to decide what she wants. I don't know about this engagement. Is Tyler really ready? Can he really trust? As long as he believes that he doesn't need help and that he can do it on his own, I see failure ahead. He needs to ask himself that if he could really get it right on his own, would have have failed miserably so many times before? Did he deliberately get into the position he is in now? Did he hurt Lexi on purpose? Of course not, and knowing those facts should help him to see that yes, he does need help. I hope he takes his father's advice.

Yeah. I'm just glad that it's not an engagement with the ring and everything. I don't think he is ready, and he won't be until Alex opens her eyes and realise what she really wants (whether that is Lucas or Tyler is still open to discussion), and until he gets serious about getting help.

It seems that if Alex isn't focusing all of her attention on him, then he gets upset and accuses her of cheating. I know he has trust issues, but he doesn't seem to be doing anything about it. Please don't get offended by what I am about to say because I might be all types of confused. But Tyler has trust issues but all I see is him being put in situations where his trust issues aren't unwarranted. I mean really why keep making him spend time with people that don't like him because he has done a lot of things in the past that have made them not like him. How is he supposed to spend time with her family when he knows and see that her parents love Lucas for her then him?? Alex isn't helping the situation in regards to Tyler or Lucas. And I know a lot of readers like Lucas because he seems to treat Alex better then Tyler because lets face it Lucas doesn't have the issues that Tyler does. I am not defending Tyler's behavior but he isn't blind and the more Alex denies what is going on with Lucas the more paranoid Tyler will be which isn't really paranoia because she was flirting with Lucas. Tyler has the hardest time expressing his feelings in a way that doesn't make him come off like a total ass. Maybe its me but why hasn't Tyler gotten help??? He has trust issues and the relationship with Alex isn't helping. I like Tyler but I feel like every chapter is pointing out his flaws in regards to how he treats Alex to how lucas does. No wonder Tyler fears loosing her to Lucas because basically he is and its not because of how he treats Alex, but how Alex just is with Lucas. Maybe Alex needs to admit the truth let Tyler go so that Tyler can focus on himself rather then seeing a truth that Alex keeps denying.

Dear JovanBleu26, believe me when I say that I was not offended by your review. In fact, I loved it.
You're right. All the world can see that there is something going on between Lucas and Alex, but the two of them. Anyone would be jealous if they were in Tyler's shoes. The problem is that Tyler has his own baggage which makes him more insecure than the average guy. No one really understands him. He fails to understand himself sometimes too.
Tyler is not getting the help he needs because he's afraid. He's afraid that if he gets over his fears and issues, shit would still happen which would undermine any progress he made. Do you really blame him when his girlfriend and her best friend seems so awfully close?
Yes, Tyler has flaws, and Alex does as well. You'll soon see a pattern. She runs away when she's confused or hurt. She always does. She runs away from her problems instead of trying to solve them unless it's completely necessary.
Alex and Lucas have their own way of treating each other. I guess you haven't seen much of how Alex and Tyler were in the past. They have their problems but they do really love each other. I guess there is a lack of communication between them that is ruining everything.
I don't know if Alex would necessary admit to herself anything. She loves Tyler. She really does.
