Charley's never met Alison, but I'm sure GFs have some sort of intuition if that's what you mean. We also don't know to what extent Rider has spoken to Alison about Charley. That's intentional. It doesn't matter if Alison actually knows or not, it's about Charley's process.

I do agree though. Rider's not a mind reader, but he's also not stupid. He's been sending flashes of some pretty strange signals as well.

And as for the lines...eh, they both haven't crossed any obvious lines but this grey area that they're lurking in is dangerous. Why doesn't Alison (the elephant in the room) ever exist between the two? I mean Chuck thinks about it, but only for a moment and then it's swept away by her lust. Rider doesn't really offer up any news on that front either.

But your comment makes me think and re-evaluate. Hopefully, the next chapter will bring more clarity. THANKS AGAIN.

sorry i never responded to this. you raise some intriguing/important questions. Charley would never punish Rider. She "loves" him too much for that. She thinks she's protecting him and his relationship with Alison. She did know about his girlfriend when they slept together, but the details of that night will reveal why she did it anyways. We're getting there...stick with me. :)

Also, you may be right. Maybe he will come visit her and find out. If he does that will be one the only blatant acts of love & some sort of commitment that he's ever her post-summer. As alluded to at the end of the latest chapter, Rider becomes a flake.
