I read this chapter again, this time I saw the beauty of her experience. To be with someone she alone felt was too good for her and have him take her to a level she did not know existed, which began to erase every bad experience that haunted her. When it was over and he was asleep, she started back down the path of darkness and doubt only to be calmed by the waves.
