Yes,  she is becoming irritating with the things she does all she will do is push him away them probably complain no one wants her.       btw can I have a Henry delivered,  I don't know if I like him yet but that scene was excellent.  Thanks

First, I don't find Valerie annoying. She is real. Something lacking from most of the main female characters in IR fiction. She is an insecure woman with a host of issues going back to her childhood. A man is not going to magically erase all of that, nor would having weight loss surgery. Henry can be with her, he can love her, take care of her, but VALERIE will have to do this on her own. I appreciate your staying true to the character. Character driven storylines are tricky, most authors fail because they lose the narative, the voice of their creation.

Second, I really admire that you take time between updates, which means you are taking the time to tell your story. You can see every thought in the words. As a reader, I would love to see frequent updates, but I prefer quality over quantity.

I don't think Val was annoying at all. I think you're writing her insecurities very well and seeing them play out is making Henry all the more loveable. I just fear for when one of them eventually messes up and I kind of hope its Henry because it would be nice to have some insecurity in him or see his pov. I would love it if Val gets some self confidence and learns how awesome she is. I also would love it if she sees that Henry isn't perfect. I can't wait to see what roads you lead us down!

I think Henry is perfect for her. He's so intune with her mind,body, and soul which is just what she needs. At first I was thinking give it a rest and enjoy. Then I thought about it and realized she's having normal doubts its sad but she' s really fucked up over George. I still think she's come along way and she's growing more confident without realizing it. Can't forget about the sex! That scene makes me want a Henry for myself lol. 

I didn't find Val annoying at all. In acutuality I find her refreshing, I get tired of reading about women who have some sort of insecurity that they use a crutch or for conflict. Yet it all comes across as superficial. But with your writing it's actually fleshed out versus you just telling your reader Val hates her body, we get a peek inside of her mindset. I can see it, I understand it, and it resonates with me.
