First my Fangirl moment....WELCOME BACK DIVA!!!!!!!
Second, I'm curious as hell about who is the baby daddy? Both Jack and Livvy are on, or rather, it seems they have been on a self-destructive path. Clearly these two are broken and each other may just be what they need.
The writing was fantastic as always. That shower scene pulled me right in and little Damien broke my heart.
Livvy's got a tough path to walk. I can't wait to see how this all unfolds.

As always Anni your writing is exceptional. Like this part, "What he was looking for was an undiluted push of adrenaline, the purest form of ecstasy that he'd had all those years ago..."
Jack sounds like one of those people (friends or family) that you can't help but love but have to watch them slowly self destruct and not be able to do anything about it. Livvy is another broken soul. Hopefully these two can mend and heal together.
I felt bad for little Damien, little kids don't understand the whys they just know something is wrong and they want their parent with them.
I'm really interested to see what happens next, how they will meet and interact. Your cast pics are hotness! Great job. :)

Thank you so much! I have missed writing and it's good to be back. As for Caught Up, it's a experiment of sorts. I'm writing out of my comfort zone and so far, it's been an interesting start. I can't wait to get into the thick of it.
As for Jack, he is definitely on the precipice of destruction- it's solely up to him to change if he wants it bad enough. The exact same can be said of Livvy and her predicament.
It's going to be a bumpy ride :)

This was a very interesting start. I find that both Livvy and Jack have a path that they are going down because something was or still is missing. Both are drawn to the path most travelled rather than the path that the so need to take. They have turned themselves off to something in order to survive. But is survival really living. Livvy is doing everything and working these soulless jobs because lets face it it guards her from truly being happy. Just like Ms. Wells said you plaster on a fake smile to make those around you think you are happy when in reality you are dying slowly. And I'm sorry how is that good for Damien. Jack on the other had is all about the rush, it's like a high that he can deal with because it never last so he is all about that high. But I guess he hasn't truly hit that low, but when he does who will be there. Looking forward to the next chapter.

I like this story and can't wait for more. I have a question about Jack. Is he still doing drugs? He talks about how deep he is in the streets and his best friend is Dominic so it wouldn't surprise me.

First, thank you for reading and reviewing! As for Jack, he's in deep. The street life's got a firm grip on him at the moment and Dominic doesn't really help things to say the least. It's going to be a different story to tell and I'm really excited about it. I hope you continue to enjoy it!

Does Livy have an education above high school? There are many things that she do beside taking off her cloths or being a prostitute. Was it her biological father that said those hateful things to her? Where is her son's father? Where is her mother? Okay that is enough questions for now after all this is only the first chapter.
