I've missed this story so thanks for the update. I don't know who this weasely character is but he needs to quit threatening Lance I need more Lance & Nina soon please.

This is good.  I understand her concern about Lance.  Maybe she could stumble upon something or someone who knows about Lance to give her some insight.  They both are in denial about their attraction for each other, but I understand why they don't want to get involved.

Lance is nothing like Jared the asshole.  I have the feeling that Lance walked away from money and privelge and that is waiting for him to come back from the dead.  Does anyone miss him?  Are his parents still living?  Does he have any siblings?  Jared so used her and had convinced her that it was love but Lance just wants her friendship.  Lance wants more but he is afraid to rejoin the land of milk and honey.  They both need therapy, him to work through the guilt and grief of loosing his family and her for getting her pain of being used by Jared.    I so love this story!!

I enjoyed what I have read so far. I guess that Lance walked away from his former life after his wife killed herself and their son. Nina seems like a very kind
woman that was taken advantage of by her former boyfriend. She is trying to start a new life in a new city. I like the fact that she has befriended Lance. I can't wait to see where their relationship goes. Thanks

Oh, I feel sorry for him, but I think that Nina understands because she has feelings for him also.  She realizes that he feels he has nothing to offer her, but that doesn't matter to her.  Great update!

He knows he has to get stable in order to be with her. Stable meaning job and own apartment. Maybe he needs to look into some therapy. Still, his feelings for Nina have grown, but are not yet at the point where his desire to be with her is stronger than his fear of re entering the "mainstream world"...
