It will be interesting to see where this goes. Lance sounds terribly damaged and there is only a hint of her pain so far. Can they help each other? This looks to be a long process for them both. Looking forward to learning more about them both.

Not going to lie, while Nina is a kind hearted soul, I seriously question a story where the heroine is so helpful to the detriment of her own safety. Yeah, muggings happen.  

But that she bought him a jacket, and is probably going to fix him up.... To repay him saving her... I dunno. This mentality hasn't been helpul to BW with BM, so why would it work wwith a WM? At least Lance realizes that he is in no shape for a relationship.

Very interesting way to introduce Nina and Lance to each other. Sure Nina being attacked wasn't the best way for them to introduce themselves but they seem to be each other's saviors. I guess what Nina almost went through hasn't really kicked I. Yet since she seems to be more worried about Lance food then what almost happened. I guess when the high wears off she will begin to to process what almost happened. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Everyone has a story and I am eager to know Lance's. I love how even though everyone goes on about their business during the day, ignores him and sees Lance as nothing, he always has something to look forward with Nina. I can't wait to see where you take this story. I am intrigued.

Wow, this story is very different but super interesting. I want to know more about Lance. What happend that was so terrible for him to be homeless and hopeless. Nina sounds like a wonderful woman, giving and loving. I can't wait to know more about them both and how they affect each other. I hope for the good.

Very interesting start, looking forward to finding out more about Lance and his mystery woman. From what I can tell there is something about Lance that draws her to him. Maybe she can see deep into his soul and see that they are a lot a like in some ways. Looking forward to the next chapter.
