LOVING THIS UPDATE, thank you. It was a great read (and long too).  Elise has grown so much as a character since the start of the story.  I like that she took time out to focus on her heart and healing. Feel that when she and Lukas eventually meet again she in a good place to be honest with her feelings and speak truthfully....

Ms K, am loving the recent updates. You are spoiling us ;-)

Am so glad that Lukas has started to acknowledge his feelings for Elise, a part of my hopes that Elise doesn't give into easily, I don't want her to play games but he should work for her. 

To the previous comment mentioning that it was creepy that her father was thinking about her in a sexual way, I don't think he was, my perception is the complete opposite. He still sees Elise as his baby girl and the thought of her acting 'adult" , he is force to realise that his little girl is growing up and indeed a woman!!!

Thanks again for posting, am looking forward to the new chapter very, very soon ... (hint, hint). Also I just want to say I truly appreciate all the writers on this board sharing your talent for free!!

I found the way her dad being protective of her sweet, but the intense way he felt about her having sex was a bit yucky--how old is Elise, again?

Thank you  Ms K, for updating. Am glad that Kori finally spoke to Lukas  (someone needed to say something). It's sad that Lukas has allowed the past to jeopardize his future happiness . He needs to forgive himself for his past choices and move on.

I hope that he and Elise can be honest with each other about their feelings. 

I  really have missed this story, as always it was written beautifully d84;.

I am so glad Lukas finally knows how Elise feels and even happier for Elise to admit how she feels to herself.  Kori took the bulls by the horn and confronted Lukas and that is what friends do.  

Noticed how his parents quickly saw the chemistry between these two--they want their son to be happy and knows Elise will make him and Mila happy.   

Hoping Elise don't settle for Keith, because that is what he wants to do, maybe he will meet someone at his cousin's wedding.

I hope Elise avoids Lukas and makes him work for her.  I bet his parents help rope her in for him.  Maybe they can get her dad to help, because he senses more between the two, too.  

I really love your story and eagerly await the updates.  Thank you.

Who did Oliver come to claim?

Is Lukas jealous of other men in Elise life/past or care of being hurt , again?  Probably both.

If I was Elise I would be hurt that he didn't think enough of me to even mention a child. I think this may make her focus on protecting her heart and distancing herself from him.  Hopefully, he will notice.

What a lovely surprise to see an update on this story.

One of my personal favourites, am glad that Lukas has his family around him. He has such a me against the world attitude and hopefully with them being around him, especially his daughter. He can be kinder to his heart.
