My suggestions for the cast is Jake Gyllenhal as Hunter, Anika Noni Rose as Anika, Ruby Dee as Ernestine Wallace, The Les twins(French twin dancers) as Isaiah and Isaac, Sean Connery as Mr. Sterling and Meryl Streep as Mrs. Sterling. Well Hunter still needs to grow up haha, but I'm sure another week in and he will crack and probably change his ways. I really don't like Corrine though horrid lady, but Sterling senior seems pretty decent. Looking forward to more :-)

We finally saw a little human emotions from Hunter wow!. Anika has got to stop stressing about their survival and let hunter do his part. If something was to happen to Anika like she got stung by a jellyfish or stepped on a sea urchin and got sideline for awhile then hunter will be force to step up. Plus he will have to use what he knows about plants to help treat her wounds. Thanks for the update.

I like Hunter's dad even though he and his mom are some spoiled overly entitled rude people. Every effort counts and it is sad to see that Anika's grandmother's offering is being snubbed because it isn't enough. It is all she had and I'm glad that Sterling, Sr. is able to see that. I hope that Corrine learns a lesson in humility really quick.

I'm willing to bet that Corrine married into her money, which explains why she's so nasty to people who aren't wealthy. Sterling seems to bea decent guy. Why'd he let his wife screw up his son like that?

Corrine is making my Teeth Itch, can't stand her uppity attitude, Hunter III seems like hes a level headed guy, how did he end up with her.
AS for Hunter and Anika, she needs to let him frnd for himself so he can see what its like to have to Work for things and not have them handed to you.

Hold up. Why isn't the other families chipping in. If Gisselle was on that plane would her wealthy family be contributing to the search party as well? Oh my goodness I just don't like him and he had the nerve to threaten to blackmail her. And the nerve to tell her he wishes she would have died and another woman would have lived. I would have found a blunt object and went upside his head with it.If I were her I wouldn't be able to stand the site of him or the sound of his voice. At this point, I'm hoping Sterling gets eaten by a shark. He's disgusting and racist. I wish Anika would kick him in the nuts one good time. I'm going to stick with this story because you're a great storyteller but Sterling makes me want to puke.

I feel like Anika is a caregiver at heart she takes care of her grandmother and her little brothers so naturally she's going to make sure both her and selfish Hunter survive. I think Anika still feels guilty about not being able to save her parents but needs to know that she was just a kid and it wasn't her fault. Hunter is just a straight up douchebag and needs to stop being so nasty.

Actually yes I purposely skipped the fourth day since this will a long story I don't know if it would get tiring writitng each day they're there. I'll be skipping every 2-3 days for each entry.

Interesting update! Hope Sterling gets a reality check and Anika's gets a break from all the stressors of her life. She seems to have had a tough life and needs a break so she can take a breather and enjoy herself. Hope they are rescued soon.

Yes Hunter has had a decent upbringing and it's pure gold compared to Anika's; eventually Anika will learn how to live for herself as the story goes on. As for them being rescued soon that could take a while.

This man makes my butt itch!!! I'm not liking Hunter at all. He would have to do something human and spectacular for me to like him just a little bit. She's doing all the work while this fool is acting like he on vacation. Maybe he needs someone In his life to tell him no, because he don't have a clue. Let him keep on he's going to eat something that going to make him sick and the only person to help him will be that"Bitter black bitch" that's stuck on the Island with him. This woman has been working In hostile territory, no wonder she didn't have any empathy for her dead co-worker. I can just imagine have more people survived what her life would have been like. She would have been the only one with shelter, food and clean water because those fool's would be waiting for the imaginary maid and butler to appear. Thanks for the update.

Actually I think I might use that for a plot line though I would have to see what Hunter could get sick or injured from. Hunter is going to come around eventually with time it still very early and needs time to develop a new outlook.
