I wondered what is it about your stories that pull me in and make these characters real. I get so caught up in your stories that I think about it during my day, wondering when will you post another chapter. I love that you don't make me wait for months. I am so glad Alec is straight forward about his feelings. Charlie needs to get it together because she feels the same. There are usually casualties when you deal with matters of the heart.Vanessa unfortunately is that casualty. Charlie should feel bad for her, but she has to think about her family that wants her back in their lives and move forward. I like this story. There is so much to build on to keep it interesting. Now, I want you to reach over your shoulder and pat yourself on the back for me... smile

Ok but is it justified if I cry? :'))),THIS story is so...God bless :')) Not going to lie in the beginning I was a little hesitant to read it, especially since it had things with depression and I try to steer towards more light hearted subjects(even though I live for drama and romance so I'm contradicting myself) ya know? See now, that's the way grown folks handle situations. Alec was right to put a pause on Vanessa. Charlie needs to be as honest with herself as Alec is with himself.
This family time was EVERYTHING. I so love Jamie. Him being so young, I'm sure he looks up to Olly even though they do fight. He can become the forgotten one with the focus being mostly on Olly. So realistic that they both think the other is the favorite. Loved how Alec and Charlie handled that.
KC, brilliant chapter. I was cheering as I read it. No games, just everyday life causing drama. I think I'm in love. :)

Did he give her ticket to Vanessa? Will she be moving back in, going over the restaurant's books , surprise him with some of his mom's roast?
She feeling a little sorry for Vanessa, but wonder how she would feel if she knew ole girl was trying to get her boys. Vanessa is sneaky and knew way back that he wasn't hers when he did make moves to become legally separated.

Gah, this is BLEEDING AMAZING!!! I was skeptical because I wasn't sure I was going to like your protagonist, especially after finding out what she had done, but I absolutely ADORE Charlie. Everything about this story is just impeccably put together and amazingly written. I was so excited to see that there were ten chapters when I started, but I finished all of them too quickly. This story is just spectacularly beautiful.

I can see a recurring theme in your books.....In lover's dance madi dealt with grief in self destructive ways until Matt gets her help....In your current book Charlie suffers from pnd until she gets help. Oh Alec, you really do need to decide what exactly you want. This is such a good story. I started off really disliking Charlotte, but I understand that she was sick. I still feel bad for the boys. They have been thru a lot. I hope to see some interaction between Charlotte and Jaime.

It was nice to see that Alec would put his feelings aside for the sake of their son. Oilly being so sick, he obviously needs his mother with him. It's always amazing to see the bond a child has with his parent. She just left and stayed away for three years and none of that matter to him when he saw her....Wow..
