Title: Chapter 2: Story
*sits down* greatodinsraven. This kicked SO MUCH ASS. I loved it. I was reading this story and my phone rang and it scared the hell out of me. That's how good this was.
I loved Nathan and his obsession with Rachel. (funny that you used Cristian Bale--Batman/Rachel--ha, you hate it I know). The thing with the red dress was just creepy goodness. Loved that moment in the courtroom, it was so intense. And her getting that letter but then it not being a letter? I knew something was up then.
The love scene with Adam was freaking hot. Seriously, damn. And then the lead pipe *shakes head* and her attacking Seth? Wow. I love how you left it open whether the letters were real or not. And then her transformation into a Nathan like killer with the new psychiatrist becoming her target. Excellent. I cant' say it enough, I think this is my favorite thing you've done so far.
The pictures were a great addition. They added another layer of darkness that made it that much more creepy. And I really liked how Rachel knew she'd crossed the line with Nathan, but was drawn to him in spite of all of the messed up shit he'd done. She was a little shady to start with in a way, which made her character that much more fascinating.
Bravo chica. Just an awesome piece of work. Take a bow.
Author's Response: So I'm pretty sure this is the best review I've ever gotten, I'm a little giddy right now actually thank you so much for this. I had felt a little bit off of my writing game lately and when I was writing this one it was so natural and felt so good I'm really proud of this story and so to get that affirmation from you means alot!
You know its crazy you mention that about Batman/Rachel because when I was writing it I could literally see Bale saying the name Rachel over again and it didn't occur to me that this is why hahaha. I loved writing Nathan he was like a combination of Ted Bundy and Patrick Bateman and the downward spiral of Rachel was really fun I'm not even sure at which point she went crazy if she ever actually did or if she already was hahaha.
The love scene was great and thanks for the Billy Crudup visual cause I think that took it to another level. This is probably my favorite self written story thus far as well so I'm glad you liked it as well! Rachel was such a truly shady character I had so much fun playing with the different shades and the thin line between therapist and patient.
Anyways can't thank you enough for this review and stars and reading definitely inspiring!
