Title: Chapter 1: The Rebellions of Simone Russell
Okay, first I have to geek out a bit because you wrote about the Passions I was actually a fan of. Well, maybe not a fan, but I did watch the show at the begining and it was nice to read about Chad and Kay, TC and Eve. And Reese! Especially Reese. :)
I love how you molded each of these characters into what they should have been. Simone's thoughts about Chad were dead on, and her observation of her sister's relationship with him even more so. I love that Whitney was slapped and came home "smelling of Chad," you made that character so much more interesting then she was with that one little sentence.
The jr. prom was my favorite part though, from watching others dance from the sidelines, to the surpisingly sweet first time with Reese, it was just really well done. And that losing her virginty could be healing for her in a lot of ways, allow her to create her own life instead of wishing for someone else's.
This was great. This was really, really great. Thank you for sharing it with us. :)
Author's Response: I remember when Passions first started and you could ignore the crazy ish because it had so much potential. I miss those times.
I'm so glad I found someone else who loved Reese. He was so awesome and such wonderful eyecandy. I was a hardcore Reese/Simone shipper back in the day, and writing this brought back my shipperness. Two outcasts in love.
Whitney was a character I never knew what to make of. I hated her in the beginning, sort of liked her during the Foxney thing, although I loved the couple, but most of the time I was indifferent. She had an interesting background, but she still came off as boring.
Losing her virginity was a big step for Simone, because she chose once again not to do what she was suppose to. She learns that she is desirable and she is just as sexy as her sister.
Thanks for reading, Token :)
