I've really enjoyed reading this...watched a little bit of the show Spartacus but can't really remember any of the players.  I do remember it being really raunchy and bloody though :)

Noooo; don't give up now, Matt!  Madi really needs you and I truly believe that he is the one to help her get past her self-destructive behavior.  The fact that she opened up to him is telling, as it seems she has not even told her dearest friends why she's blamed herself for their deaths all this time.

I totally understand why Matt would begin to doubt himself, but I really hope they can get through this and he can help Madi deal with her parents' death once and for all.

Loving this story...I laughed out loud at Maddie's outburst at the auction!  She is truly something else!  I really love how innocent and sweet she is and how open her nature is.  Love that she has a fierce ally in Bella!

Yes!  So happy Matt got the truth out of Grumps and that he jumped so strongly to her defence!  Now, at least Grumps know how Matt feels; can't wait to see if he actually trys to apologize to Maddie!  I can see that being quite a challenge for him!

Yes, Annabelle is definitely going to be a problem, and will not go quietly, even though she is the reason she no longer has Richard...isn't it true that you don't know what you have until you lose it.  Will be interesting to see how she deals with the new "interloper"...lol.

I wonder what deep, dark secrets Brandon is hiding; he's definitely been through some painful and dark times in the past.  I really wish they would both open up and be honest with each other, but I know that is easier said than done.

Yeah, Marisol getting attacked is going to be a negative for Diya, as Brandon will most likely shower her with attention and concern, which may leave Diya feeling like the odd man out.  Of course Diya can't object without seeming heartless, so she'll likely be in a tough spot.

Can't wait to see what you have in store for our dear couple...should be very interesting:)

JJ, I must say you've done it again!  I just got caught up on this wonderful tale, and I must say that though I am Team Brandon, these last two chapters threw me for a loop.  Brandon is a complex character, and I get that he wants Diya to open up and tell him how she really feels, but that works both ways; he needs to be ready to reciprocate.  I know when you've been hurt in the past it's hard to open up and trust the new person to not add to your hurts, but sometimes you just have to take a leap of faith.

It'll be interesting to see where this couple goes from here...Branny has some explaining to do and it'll be interesting how he makes it up to Diya.  As always you have me totally invested in your characters and feeling their pain and angst.

Diya and her Branny are the cutest! I do understand where Diya is coming from with her over-the-top family, but she really needs to take the leap of faith and trust that Branny will leap with her!  Baby steps though, lol.  I like that even though she was terrified of her father's reaction, she still acknowledged Brandon, so there is that.

I would love for you to continue to update when you have time, and not necessarily wait until the whole book is completed, but that is just my humble opinion...I will read it anyway you decide to write it...love all your stories!
