Joss' mom is quite the character...a poster child for ethnic intolerance. The way she semed to deliberately mis-pronounce Shahira's name and called Eshan "Aladdin" was pretty rude and ignorant.
Poor Joss, she's truly caught between a rock and a hard place..hope she continues to protect her heart because I can see Eshan breaking it without necessarily meaning to do so.
I'm torn between wanting them to be together and wanting Joss to run for the hills. I see so much potential with them as a couple, but so much potential heartbreak also.

Pearl is an unmitigated mess. Her calling Eshan "Aladdin" is pretty much what it appears to be. But the mispronunciation of Sahirah's name is a behavoir I patterned after my grandmother and her friends (all in their seventies and older, like Pearl). I have no idea why they do it. It's definitely not based on racial prejudice since they do it to everyone, including me.
Eshan and Joss stand to lose or gain a lot depending on how this all turns out. We'll see which soon.

This chapter broke my heart, even though this was the almost logical sequence of events, considering Eshan's position. Hope he still chooses love in the end...will have to cross my fingers, toes and all other appendages in hope...lol.

How could she rat out her own cousin to the scum of the earth. The fact that he is demanding that Joss sleep with him so that he doesn't report Eshan should spea volumes to her but she still does not get it...ugh...how dumb could she possibly be...
Gosh, even though I am not a big fan of Joss' mom, she actually made sense and it gives me a slither of hope that Eshan will follow his heart and choose Joss (hopeful romantic that I am...lol).
Chris is a truly despicable character...I guess he just wants Joss because he has not fallen for his slimy "charms" or something...so glad she didn't fall for that...

Gosh, this situation is getting very complicated! On the one hand I'm rooting for Alfred, but he is not human, and if Selena ever hopes to have a family of her own, i.e. kids, she is going to need a real man...I'm so torn...lol.

There is a method to Thomas madness. Continue to root for Alfred. Thomas does NOT want to take her from Alfred which a lot of people think is happening. Don't be torn. Lest I reveal too much, I will stop here. I will say Thomas was greatly influenced by the time he had with his father and the time he had with Charles and this is the driving force behind his new inventention at Antex. More is coming!

So glad Ant got to be reunited with his real father who had been made to give up all hope of his existence by his spiteful, evil "mother". Some people really do not deserve to be parents, and Mercede definitely falls into that category. Glad she is no longer allowed to be a part of Anthony's life or the lives of his immediate family.
Rich really deserves someone special to love and care for him; he has shown himself to be loyal, dependable and the real deal time and time again. Can't wait to read his story; I know you will fill us in on little tidbits from Ant and Natalia's lives during the telling of Rich's tale.
It would be awesome to have this story on my kindle, as it is far superior to any of the stories I currently have, but I do understand if you decide not to go the publishing route. I must say that I would buy your book in a instant if you did decide to publish; it's really that good.

What a truly evil, hateful creature! While I didn't expect her to become Joss' best friend, I really thought she would fall in line with her husband and at least keep her disdain and hatred for Joss under control.
Yes, it was a mistake for Joss to approach her and ask her to keep a confidence, knowing how much she hates her, but even I did not expect her to immediately go blab to Joss' mother! Joss unwittingly gave her ammunition to create more havoc!
I love Eshan's dad...he is so sweet and caring; not sure how he can be joined to such a hateful creature as his wife is proving to be, but I guess, as they say opposites attract.
I'm really glad Asa and Delkash told on their mother, as she really should not get away with being so nasty to Joss and her family. Hopefully Eshan's dad can get her under control as she is just doing too much right now.
I really feel for Pearl right now; I hope the truth comes out about who let the cat out of the bag about PJ's pregnancy, as we don't want PJ's drama to affect Joss even more.

I really feel for Joss; Eshan is a good man, but it is really hard to merge cultures sometimes, especially when one of the main people you need to be on your side despises you. I'm glad that at least Joss' father-in-law to be likes her.
I really didn't like Pearl in B&B, but she is kinda growing on me; mainly because she is a momma-bear and I can totally relate to that:)
