Thanks for visiting.  I love reading and writing, but mostly reading.  My goal is to write one great story at a time but because I function better when I have multiple thoughts going on at once, I wonder if that will ever be achieved.  In the meantime, I stick with this--find the place that challenges me most and let it rip.

Title: Chapter 2: Gone Baby,Gone

There isn't much you have to do to get me to like...um...Detroit themed movies...a tight cast that includes BEY and Marky Mark!!! You could have spilled ink on the paper and I would have been shouting hot damn!

BTW...I love it...as a movie buff I strive to spin arcs myself and rewrite...that's the creative birdie in us. Reading right along... ;-)

Title: Chapter 5: Inadequate Truths

This chapter was the bambiggity...

1. It showed just how much Baby cared for the Mercers, Evelyn and Bobby--Terrance is on the outside looking in.

2. Though something still hangs in the wings 'cut off' by the visitor that interrupted Evelyn's speech, there's enough information in her videodiary to lay things out for Baby to follow her warnings.

3. It picks up right off from where you left things...long time ciming, but it was necessary really for us to see the connection that baby has to her past--even with the footnote of her 'abandonment issues'

This chapter was Baby's bow...she is the anchor now for the family, and the torch was officially passed.

I loved it! With Evelyn doling out careful instructions that she not trust the police and basically keep the truth away from Bobby, I only see Sofia as her ally. Now, does Sofia have a familia she can go to when her back is up?

Or, will Baby be forced to lay it all on Bobby's feet?

Right now, I think she wants to trust Tee, because of her nature to stand on the word of his disgust with poepoe corruption. But Sofia has a point in this that Tee has to either be suspicious of Fowler and keeping him close or he's up to his ears in this shit.

I have no clue where you will be taking this, but you are doing the damn thing. I'll be around to catch the update. I hope it won't be too long, but as a writer I know how you feel about wanting to post the best you have to offer.

With that said...great update!

Title: Chapter 4: Debts, Lies & Video Tape

Oh this was good. I'm so sure now that Terrance still has a long way to go to compete for her heart. Bobby is back, and his presence creates a whole lot of drama for all involved with him or related to him, with Karina/Baby as no exception.

I can't wait to see how Terrance shakes her down about 'all night' with Bobby.

But more than anything this video...what does it mean. I want to say Victor is related to this somehow, but with the way you are writing...it's hard to be sure.
