He's been a snob for so long he can't see how great something different could be. Dougie...he likes Madi too and thinks he an win her from Matt. Not happening but maybe Dougie could get his own story in the future with another cute woman similar to Madi??! Matt I just love to death. I can understand why Madi is having problems with how things are viewed by Matt and change coming by being his wife. I don't think Matt means to do it, he's like Grumps in a way. I just know they have to have some conflict before they can truly be together. Obviously Portia and Louisa are up to no good. Is Dougie really s good guy? Is he sleeping with Louisa? And who was that strange black woman. Hmm...you could go in so many directions with this story...can't wait!!

And Madi doesn't want to lose herself. Diya is definitely concerned about Brandon, Marisol, and the implications of that kiss. And hurting the relationship is the very reason for Diya's hesitation in telling her family about Brandon and him about them. More on that in future chapters.
