Bio:

Lover of literature, gazer of stars, admitted francophile and all around geek. When sopmething compels me to write in whatever medium, I just do it. If I overthink it, I just ruined the possibility of it becoming great. I'm quite impulsive and in posession of many loves and I used to write on a storyboard a long time ago.

Title: Chapter 1: Prologue

I LOVE your prose! This story has an undeniable flow and the first person narrative gives so much more insight into the real romance and dynamic between the characters.  From what I've been reading lately, it's a testament to a well thought out understanding of who your characters are or are becoming. I greatly applaud you for that. It's not the stereotypical, "weeks later, we had fallen madly in love" with no reasoning or description of how that process came about. There's the stable argument for wanting Val and Henry to work through their apprehension and be together because you feel you really know them. Mommy and Daddy Jones are a great foil and an even more complex dynamic to bring into the story, especially Mama. I'm excited to read the big reveal of George's cruelty behind a charming on paper facade, especially when Val's mother learns of it. You're doing a fantastic job; keep up the great work!
