To her mother's disapproval and her godfather's consent, she travels to her father's old getaway cabin in Waterloo, Canada and decides to continue her advocating literature of mutant equality. However, with her father being a well-known telepath in the small town and the disturbing genocidal intakes of Waterloos people, Elise agrees to not cause any unwanted attention to herself for the sake of her godfather's plea…. That is until the confines of her life takes an unexpected turn when she finds a barely unconscious , gruff man who seems to be on the brink of death only to make a shocking recovery.
With a distasteful stubborn attitude and razor metal claws that follows with a quickening temper, Elise reluctantly starts to take an interest in the mutant and forges an unlikely bond….which eventually turns into a mutually intense desire for one another.
Their carnal endearment however, is interrupted when their well-being is threatened by a dangerous group of mutant hating Jingoists.
With time running out and their lives at stake, Elise slowly succumbs to the unsettling term that she may not be able to sway the Wolverine from his tortuous constant kill streak…but that won't keep her from trying.
