1.  Diya needs to drop Brandon immediately and never talk to him again(she asked him about Marisol and he lied).

2. Diya needs to find a new job out of town.

3.  Diya needs to move to another city.

4.  Diya needs to change her number and start a new life.  She should never talk to her family again that are abusive and selfish.

5.  Diya needs to take time to heal.

*Me screaming at my phone right now* I KNEW IT!!! I FRICKIN KNEW IT!!!! Lawd I want them to work this out and be together so badly but this crazy train just keeps on chugging LOL can't wait for more!

The way i have invested in this story is so ridiculous. I was late for work because i couldnt stop reading...why do you drop such catastrophic bombs like that. But... Thank you for sharing your brilliant writing skills. If i had been watching this on t.v. i would thrown the remote at Brandon. Better still if i were Diya, i would have backhanded Brandon into the middle of next week for pulling such nonsense.
What i dont get is how he is untruthful about his past, yet Diya has been nothing but an open book. How he is infuriated when Manny is mentioned yet Diya has to live with the fact that his first love is still in the picture. Now i am even questioning the paternity of the 3Ms.
I dont know how he is going to get out of this one but an apology wont suffice. Diya needs to get away and clear her head from all the family and Brandon drama. She deserves a whole better than this.

Yeah, an apology ain't gone cut it.  The secret-keeping and Mannie double standard warrant an explanation.  Brandon has one; I just don't know how good it'll be as far as Diya's concerned (or you, the readers, for that matter).

Damn, Brandon that admission changes everything.  Marisol still has feelings for you,and keep riding to the ho's rescue. Diya may make the choice for and leave you because she will never be first in your mind. Ibwill be in pins and needles until the next update.

I read that last sentence and got SICK TO MY STOMACH. Disgusted. Such a great story, that I always forget I can comment on, one of the reasons I still check this site. Thanks for the upload and for giving me a slow burn read hat grates my elves and has me in all my feels at the same time lol. Great chapter!

I am sickkkkkkkkk! Oscar, although he shouldn't have been there did not deserve what happened to him, and I am sick and tired of Marisol. I don't know how Di continues to put up all of that. If I was her Brandon and I would not make it past bed partners. Yikes!

So wonderfully generous of you to update again so quickly...Your work is amazing...but, Author you are so cruel...this revelation is so much more than I could ever expect Diya to bear...though if I think about it, I’m not surprised with how clingy Marisol is to Bran and how he seems to always bail her out of jams...I wonder why he seems on some level to cling to Marisol...I don’t doubt his love for Diya is sincere and true...but like his mom says he is too giving when he cares...Marisol thus takes advantage...what does that mean for Diya...I am so excited for more...That you got me up in my feelings over this book is such a testament to the power of your talent, imo...be blessed...

So Marisol the eternal victim is Brandon first love! What the hades and this will hurt or break Diya and Brandon apart. If Diya and Brandon are going to be together Marisol and the brats need to go, as for Diya family they also need to go. I truly believe Brandon love Diya but he allow his-self to be friend with this toxic person( Marisol), and Marisol is using her children to keep Brandon in the loop. Brandon never has a chance to move onl with his life because of being nice and instead of giving Marisol the finger. Brillant writing and thank you. Bain

I hope she really heard Brandon '''Marisol IS my first live", not was my first love.  Now we know why Mariso is  so territorial with Brandon...he is hers.

I would take a big step back from this relationship, a big step. All this time these two have been keeping secrets and putting Diya through hell.  Diya needs to find a new job and think hard on joining up with even more dysfunctional people, including Brandon.
