I have missed this so much. And yeah, I fear I know who Oliver is after. Why else would he want to destroy Everett.
Lukas should be up front with Elise and stop this push pull. She is more vulnerable than he thinks. My girl is in love for the very first time and doesn't know what to do with herself. I wish she would talk to Devyn or her mother. Or I wonder will Dad be the one. He's noticed something and is on the hunt now. I can not wait to see when Lukas' mom sees the two together. She will know. Definitely.

Hope all is well and please don't stay away so long again. I love your story and will read anything your are willing to give on these two.
Elise is shocked, because if Lukas has a daughter, where is the mother or wife---I think she needs to pull back and realize that Lukas is not ready for her, yet. If the man did not even think enough of her to mention he had a child... Elise can now stop punishing herself over his actions. I hope she ignores the hell out of him at the gala, before her head explodes.
As for Likas, even with his mom speaking with him, he is still able to walk away from someone he feels so strongly about. I can understand him not telling Elise about Hannah, but to kick her out without explanation...yeah it's time for Elise to just back off. These two have chemistry and belong together, but right now they need to comunicate or move on, separately.
Elise is smart and hopefully her instincts will kick in with the Oliver character, but she is so wrapped up in Lukas that she will ignored the warning.

Lukas has no idea how much he's hurt Elise. I'm afraid of what she'll do. I hope she just concentrates on herself. I also hope she let's Luk know that she's hurt by his actions. He just can't keep treating her any kind of way.
Luk has issues that he needs to deal with and his hot and cold actions will only twist Elise in a knot. Looking forward to his daughter coming to town.

Thank you so much for this update 😆. It was so worth the wait!! I agree with the other posters Lukas is hurting so bad and the saddest thing is the more he protects his heart, he will end up missing out on true love. Elise, has grown as a character for the better and should just continue to focus on the love for herself and life. Lukas has a lot of healing to do and make peace with himself. He was young but was blessed with a daughter.
I disagree with the other poster, I doubt that Kori is involved, am so looking forward to her story.

Elise should not chase him anymore. Lukas has issues only Lukas can come to term with. If Elise was to stay with Lukas, she would have to walk on eggshells. Sad to say, but Elise is going to be glad she didn't open up her heart to him.
Help his daughter get use to the change of moving to another country (she will fall in love with Mila), but do not chase this man anymore.
So glad you updated, bc your story is so well written that it stays with me.
I think her female friend is in on the sabotage and I hope Lukas sees her with her ex. The ex will tell him straight that he is glad Lukas messed up.

I think Lukas needs to deal with his insecurities and his past..he tries to hide behind his daughter every time Elise doesn't agree with him on something and pushes her away...he shouldn't judge Elise based on Hannah that's so unfair and immature... Wish he would stop being so rude and judgemental...its not like he's perfect he still hasn't revealed to Elise about his daughter or his past...he has some major grovelling to do if he wants to get back in Elise good books...

Lukas is hurting, that ho Hanna really did a number on his heart. Elise, Lukas doesn't know your heart and your willingness not to open tto your father sent a message to Lukas. Thank you for showing a softer side of Elise. So glad she came to her senses and realize she was being a tad bit mean--also glad she stopped chasing him.
I love this story and so glad they finally got it on :-). Sex scene was hot and tastefully done.
No regrets and hopefully Lukas won't back slide when his family come into town. He may want a fwb relationship, but seeing her friendly with the good-looking ex will nip that idea.
