Danielle Roberts affectionately known as Dani to everyone, has what everyone else seems to want, money, power and respect.  But she doesn't have the one thing that she wants, love.Chad Collins is everybody's All-American. He's got the career, the money and the chicks throwing themselves at him, but he doesn't have the one he wants, Dani.

They've both signed the contract with "the clause".  Will they be able to overcome it and find the true love they've both been waiting on?

Title: Chapter 2: Monday Mornings are Monday Mornings

The cat and mouse games continues...why is it we can't see the forest for the trees...Dani has her 'list' of her perfect man...and Mr. Right is right there in front of her eyes...and Chad...everything he's always wanted in a woman fell in his lap...and he's too afraid to take the bull by the horns...these two...what are we going to do with them, D...I know that 'the clause' was put in there for a justifiable and practical reason...but something tells me...that it's going to be violated often and soon...let the tension continue to build to the beaking point...I'm so psyched about these two...I can hardly stand it...

Update soon...more, more, more soon!!!!!

Author's Response: We never can see what's in front of us until its too late.  I'm going to try and make this Not happen for this couple...

Title: Chapter 1: The Introductions

I think that Dani and Chad are adorable...and I for one can't wait to see how you work around 'the clause' to bring them together...love tales of mutual unrequited love...yet finding a way to be together despite the odds...looking forward to more...please update soon...

Author's Response: I plan to update soon.  My job needs to understand that I need to write!  :)

Yay...Chad's a big hit with Dani's friends...and dude's pulling out all the  stops...and can he make himself more clear...he wants YOU, girl...Dani...Paul Bunyan has laid claim...and it's you that he wants...I know the drama is coming...but I'm loving Chad slowly breaking down her defenses...Dani...go get your man...

Author's Response: Well, let's see what happens next!  Yep... time for the drama to occur!  :)

Title: Chapter 3: Twisted Taco's and Emotions

Okay...does Dani need anvils to fall on her head...how can she not know that Chad is interested in her than more than just a friend...

I love Chad...he's a true gentleman...holding doors...holding her in the small of her back...paying attention to details...he's a man after my own heart...

Uh-oh...so Kerrington saw the kiss...this could get sticky...wonder what the ramifications will be from that...

Getting good...more, more, more please...

Author's Response: Kinda like Wil. E. Coyote with the anvils... LOL.. I think she's getting the picture...

Title: Chapter 16: Apologies a little to late

Awww...my heart just broke for both Dani and Chad...Chad is such a lunkhead...such a man...if only he had told her the truth so she wouldn't be ambushed like that...it could all have been better...but no, he took the coward's way out and hoped that everything would just go away...and he should know better...especially knowing how screwy in the head Heather is...hmmm, wonder what Carey has on her...I can't wait for that skank to get hers...oh please, make it good...

Chad's mama is right...he has to give Dani time...right now, she's disillusioned with him...and has lost faith in him...she needs time to work this out...and maybe she'll find it in her heart to forgive...and realize just what a great guy Chad is...she's already in love with him...so that's half the battle...just let time heal all wounds...I'm still hoping they can make it...

Looking forward to more, and welcome back, D...missed the story and you...

Author's Response:

I missed you guys too. I'm not leaving again... LOL :)

Title: Chapter 10: Lunch with the McKenzies

It's heating up in here...they're the talk around the office...so Dani plans a seduction and she told Taylor she's falling in love with Chad...getting good...and Matt had me cracking up with his nosiness and teasing...can't wait to see what happens next...and I can't wait to see the fallout...who gets the chopping block because of 'the clause'...thanks for the update, D...

Author's Response: Thanks ma'am.  Hopefully I get it just right.

Title: Chapter 14: Rehearsal Dinners and Punches

Ben is a jackass...even his own family recognizes it...wonder where he gets the deep-seated racism from...certainly not from his parents or siblings...he made a big fool of himself...and almost wrote a check that his arse couldn't cash courtesy of his brothers...I can't ignorance of that sort...irrational...unreasonable...and unfounded...

I'm liking Mama Collins more and more (also helps that Barbara Mandrell was one of my favorite singers growing up...yeah, I'm little bit country if you haven't guessed by now, lol...)...and a mama recognizes a harlot in her sons' mists...seems she already has the skinny on Heather...and she only wants her sons happiness...I think she'll make Dani a great mother-in-law...same goes to her future father-in-law...

I just want to weep again...that last lovemaking session was so intense...but I already know that Dani and Chad's very new relationship will be blown to bits when Heather drops her bombshell on Dani...not so much that she'll believe that he actually slept with that tramp...but it's more like a trust issue...she'll probably wonder why he couldn't trust her with the truth and believe in her enough to never hide things from her...in essence...their relationship with have HUGE trust issues...and whether or not they'll be able to overcome them will be the question because the love and the passion is definitely there...

Looking forward to more...until next time...

Author's Response:

Ben, he's a jackass because of his friends and his frat brotheres, nothing his parents taught him.  All on his own accord.

I liked Barbara MAndrell too.  I like George Strait as well....

Chad and Dani are both intense and truly love each other, but I can't do whatever one wants this time and have him be up front, we still have "the clause" to deal with and the drama... Breaks my heart, but its gotta happen...

Title: Chapter 18: Chapter 18 - NYC Here we come

It's interesting that I'm not all that concerned with "the clause" in both of their contracts now as I am in if Chad will find a way back into Dani's good graces...right now her faith in him is "shook"...but she loves that man with every fiber of her being...and she at least acknowledges how much she missed him and his companionship...yes, he's a boneheaded...but I can't be mad at him...he's hopeslessly in love with that girl...and he won't give up on her or them...my kinda of man...and Dani knows she's misses her gentle giant...please don't let that trollop win...Dani and Chad deserve to be happy...together...keeping the faith...can't wait for the next update...

Author's Response: The next update is coming soon,

Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Glad to see you back posting, Suprina...that was great...and I'm so glad at the end that Connie realized the best 'revenge' is living well...she chose her...and she took back her power from a worthless man and did what was best for her...glad she had the foresight to protect herself...who knows what he could have given her and she certainly doesn't need a baby to complicate things...I love actualization stories when women can finally see the forest for the trees...good going, Connie...you're right...you're better than that!!!!  Thanks for sharing!!!

Author's Response:

Yes, living well is the BEST revenge, Attheritz. And I'm so glad to be back posting on this site. It's been about a year, I think. Wow! What a difference a year makes.

Anywho, I'm all for a person taking back his/her power from others. Especially worthless others. And that subtle condom insertion was my way of having Connie use her common sense. Ain't no telling who else that fool was cheating with. Real talk.

Thanks for leaving a comment!

Title: Chapter 8: Chapter 8 - Forgive

Jan...that was beautiful...that's exactly the kind of relationship and forgiveness I'd like to see on True Blood...but alas...to no avail..it seems that torturing Tara is agenda...and frankly, it quite tiring...

I love the Aunt Vie character...she's such a wise sage...she opened up her home and heart to strangers while dispensing some well-needed advice...

I hope Tara decides for once to be just selfish and takes Sam up on his offer to move in...that was very big of Lettie Mae to realize just how much her daughter has sacrificed to take care of her...she is a lucky woman...and Tara is a very special young lady...

Can't wait for the trip to Jamaica...sorry, I haven't left a review for this story...but you know I've been reading since you put it up...but I teach school and sometimes life gets in the way of my reviewing...looking forward to more...

Author's Response:

Thank you. I couldn't have said it better.   As you can tell that I am slowly inching my way to the trip. So sorry to be taking my sweet old time to do the Jamaica bit.. but, I figured I should get certain things out of the way first.

Thanks for your continued support. Your feedback helps me a great deal, I look forward to more.

Title: Chapter 5: Lay in My Bed

Hi there, IT...haven't left a review yet...but just so you'd know...been reading along all the while...and this has been one heck of a ride...Simon and Moliere are hawtness personified...there's only so long you can run from your true feelings and then...like a ticking bomb...it explodes...and they have been exploding all night all up and through that house...loving the physical...but now I need them to start being honest about their feelings for one another with each other...can't wait until floodgates open...and for everything to be out in the open...

I'm guessing that Aunt Mae is terminal...and she doesn't want Mo to know...I think she really needs to tell her...this is going to very painful for Mo...but at least she'll have a chance to be there for her in her final days...don't know the direction you're going with Cooper...but my guess it has something to do with Simon's fiancee and an 'indecretion' between the two...that's the only thing that I can think of that would 'break his heart'...his best friend's betrayal of trust...

Great story...loving it so much...looking forward to more...wow, this chapter packed a powerful punch!!!

Title: Chapter 7: Chapter 6

I knew Nic was not to be trusted...and this chapter just proves how dire Charly's situation really is...he possesses her body...now he wants to possess her soul...and she can trust no one...Regi was a nice twist btw...but I still have faith that good will triumph over evil and Nic and his minions will not win...they can't...don't know how Charly will survive all of this...but survive she must...I was thinking that wouldn't it be ironic that the person that Charly thinks she can trust least is really there to save her...what a twist if Laz was her guardian angel...he was created by the Almighty Savior...so he must have some good left in him...I hope so...but I can't wait to see where you take this...

Title: Chapter 6: Chapter 5

So glad to see you back with this story, Happy...I love it...

Maybe it's just me...but I'm not rooting for Nic at all...he's too diabolical...and I hope he's underestimating Charly and her goodness...isn't that why he chose her in the first place besides being physically attracted her or is it her goodness that's the turn on for him...but I don't want him to succeed...and though by some miracle I want Charly's baby to make it...I know it's not possible for her to keep her sanity...so the little one will have to be sacrificed to thwart Nic's evil plan...at no point now am I seduced by his 'hotness'...he is pure evil with evil intent...he wants mankind destroyed and will turn on poor Charly at anytime if she does not blindly follow him into his perceived entitlement of world domination...

This is a terrific story of the battle of good and evil...I hope that good prevails...see ya, later...

Anastasia's up to no good...she's been warned...yet she chooses to defy Nic...bad, bad move Banshee...

And just exactly what grand schemes does Nic have for his heir and poor Charly...does he plan to possess her very soul along with her body...and I know the wicked delights he has planned for her body will never compensate for the carnage he plans to wrought on her life...

Hurry on back soon...love this Happy!!!

Title: Chapter 2: Chapter 1

I think you have another winner here, Happy...Nic is a predator and he's spotted his prey...unfortunately for her...it's Charly...her sadness and sense of betrayal put her on his radar and he intends to take full advantage of her for his nefarious plan...he feeds off of human frailities...and Charly was the most vulnerable...she has fallen quite nicely in his lap literally...he's an other-worldly being...a demon perhaps...I feel so badly for Charly...her goodness is also her draw for him...it always pure goodness that evil wants to corrupt...and thus begins the nightmare for Charly...

By the end of this chapter...I was screaming in my head "Run, don't walk, but run, Charly as fast as you can from him"....but no such luck...

Looking forward anxiously to an update of this new Spring baby-fic drama...I so scared for Charly...

Title: Chapter 2: Chapter 2 - To Old Fucks

I'm still trying to get over the shock and sadness I felt upon viewing the final few moments of Season 4 True Blood...I can't believe Alan Ball had the balls to do that to my beloved Tara...sure, I've heard that Rutina is supposed to be back for Season 5...but it's the uncertainty of what capacity they plan to bring her back as that has me twisted up in knots...I can't be down as her being a vamp...for one, I know that would spell the end of my Tam dreams of them one day seeing the light together...having a houseful of shifter-human hybrid babies...vamps can't reproduce...and shifters are not immortal...two, why do they insist on torturing Tara...why make her into the one being she hates the most...vamps are not "heroes"...they are monsters and Tara, in my opinion, is the only one with the right healthy attitude about what they really are capable of doing and how much destruction they have wrought...if that makes her "narrow-minded"...then so be it...at least it makes her realistic...

Bringing her back as a ghost with occasional visits to Laffy will not cut it for me either...in essence...I want, no need Tara to remain HUMAN...and if it's not possible...then I have no more interest in True Blood...Tara would have once again sacrificed her own self-preservation, her future, and ultimately, her life for Sookie...yet, the same can not be said of Sooks who continuely blows off Tara for her next vamp bed-buddy...that ain't right (sorry for getting a bit Southern on ya)...poor Tara has survived so much...been through too much sh*t...not to find some type of happiness here on Earth in life...only to die like that at the hands of a crazy, V-addicted, anorexic were-bitch who was jealous of Sookie because her wolf too fell under the spell of the "magical" golden fairy vagina of Sookie, RME...

I WANT MY TAM, DARN IT, LOL...so on to your story...thank goodness for fanfic...can't wait to see what mischief Tommy is up to...sounds interesting...looking forward to more...sorry for the long rant...but I'm mad as fire at Alan Ball right about now...I love my Tara...I want her back as Tara...she's the heart and soul of this show for me...

Author's Response:

I love the ranting.  Bring it on! Believe you me, I have done my share.  My mind is all in knots too over what the writers are going to do about Tara in season 5.  Yes, she is the heart and soul of the show.  Heck, she is the one reason why I go on watching the show.  The first time I laid eyes on that character at super saver bunch, I was hooked.  I was never intrigued by Sookie.  Tara is the one and only most realistic and relatable character in the whole show.  I love her interactions with Lafayette, Lettie Mae and Sam. And girl, you know I am the biggest TAM-shipper there is. Sometimes I like watching her and Sookie, but, there have been painful moments too, especially when Sookie doesn't listen to her or whenever she chooses Eric over her.  Also, that time when Sookie kissed Sam when she fully knew about Tara's involvement with him.  Ohhh, somethimes that Sookie makes my blood boil.

Like you I don't want Tara return as a vamp nor as a ghost. Making her into a supernatural would be the biggest mistake.  There are some speculation that she may come back as a zombie.  Bloggers say this because on more than one occasion, the term had been used throughout season 4.  Like the time when Bill's female aide who spied for him at the MoonGoddess Imporium was seen playing some kind of zombie game while she was on guard duty.  Then when Pam was strangling Tara in the parking lot in front of TMZ paps, one of them called her a zombie.

By any measure, zombie is the worst thing you could ever wish on a person. To me is worse than turning them into a vampire.  Imagine our beautiful and intelligent Tara living out the rest of her days rotting for an eternity.  If the writers ever do that to her, I'll swear off True Blood for ever. I want nothing more for her to come back and to come back human and whole with all her faculties and personality in tact.  The show is done without Tara. That's all I have to say.

>>Thanks for reading chapter 2.  Chapter 3 will be out shortly, so stay tuned!! :)

Title: Chapter 8: Chapter 8 - Uninvited Guests

Thanks for keeping hope alive for the Tam fans, Jan since the TB writers don't seem to want to cooperate...the only happy, loving, functional couple on the whole darn show is...Arlene and Terry...are they serious...smh...if I knew for certain there was absolutely no chance for Tara and Sam...then, I'd be so outta there...can't believe I subjected myself to a season of the Eric/Bill "bromance", the Authority (I shudder just remembering that whole convoluted inanity that made watching Terry's smoke monster a cultural experience), or even worse, the bafoonery of Russell Edgington...gah, don't know much more of it I can take...

So thanks a million times for updating this story...anyway...loved the last two chapters...at first I was really, really upset by Luna and her betrayal but then I realized that she doesn't know about Tommy's ability to skinwalk and she really does think she actually slept with Sam only to have "him" reject her after the fact and then to witness him fall headlong later that night in bed making passionate love with another woman...a girl she had to know that he was still stuck on...I'd probably be ready to kill too...but don't get me wrong...she got what she deserved...Tara should have caved her skull in for bringing those monsters to her door...

As an aside...see, this is what I don't get about the Pam/Tara relationship on the show...yes, I know that Pam is her maker...I know the bonds that a progeny has with their maker...but these two chicks  actually actively hated each other and wanted to kill one another as evidenced in your story and season 4 of TB...so how is it that less than a week later we are to believe they are so much supposedly "in love"...can we say rushed much...anyway...let me stop rambling and thank you once again...hope you update soon...

Author's Response:

Thanks for reading my story and giving me such a fine feedback.

Can I say that like you I don't agree with some things about True Blood season 5.   OK, I am kinda liking Tara as a vampire but against her having a sexual relationship with her maker.  To me them hooking up is just too weird, too incestuous as it were.  I would much rather them be mother-daughter-friend than go down some kind of twisted path.  I know vampires have screwed up morals, but, you don't see Bill making a move on Jessica.

Although I like the new Tara as a no nonsense take charge vampire with cage fighting skills, I just wished the writers kept her human and found a way for her to be just as heroic as the vampire that she has become.  I say so because Tara, as human, she could still hook up with Sam.  Call me ridiculous, I am still hoping for a TAM hook up in season 6.

Amaris Manning was a woman that was over six feet tall.  Julian Arrington was just a little over five six.  They were attracted to one another from the beginning, but would it be a good fit?  She was sexually repressed.  He was sexually promiscuous. She was looking for a relationship and he was avoiding one at all costs. She was black and he was white.  They were totally opposite in every way, yet their hearts didn't seem to hear their heads talking!

Title: Chapter 16: Chapter 13 My Actions Speak Louder Than My Reputation II

I hope you have a nice comeuppance planned for Miss Seleah...her sense of entitlement makes me want to strangle her...how could such a good kid like Demaris come from someone so essentially flawed and rotten to the core...her self-centeredness knows no bounds...how you gonna roll up on someone without any notice...and expect them to take care of all your material needs...I felt so bad for Demaris...having someone like that as a mother...thank goodness for his Aunt Marri and Auntie Tam's influence in his life...no telling how he would have turned out without it...got me wondering...and I hope I'm not being to presumptuous...but Jules' brother Joseph is coming to town...and Seleah is in town...she's the ultimate mooch...and Joseph is full of pride...but at least he's trying to better his circumstance...could we have a clash in the making...though I'd say even Joseph with all his problems is too good for someone like Seleah...maybe he'll be the catalyst to set her sorry behind straight...anyway, she's trifling...hope she grows the heck up soon for her kids' sake...

Uh-oh, what's going on with Daniel...I hope it's just the medication he's been taking that causing the impotency problem...he's too young and virile to be having ED issues...but he should know by now that Tam's not going anywhere...but please seek professional help before the problem causes any more distance between them...glad Jun's coming around and learning even sinners have soul...Tamera loves his son like no other...and he'd be a fool to let her go...there through the good and the bad...in sickness and health...that's true love for you...

Looking forward to more...thanks for taking my mind off the mountainous amounts of work I can never seem to catch up on...

Author's Response:

Title: Chapter 12: Chapter 9 Doing What Comes Naturally

Damn, I hate playing catch up but work's been kicking my arse...but hey...it pays the bills...

Brenda...you have another winner here...and good, goobly, goo...two love stories in one...what have I done to deserve so much goodness...

Anywho...loved these hilarious characters...Julian has created a monster and released the inner freak in Marri...she might just wear the poor man out...but, hey, Jules not complaining one bit...lol...glad he's beginning to make amends and peace with his family...Amaris coming into his life has has a big effect on him...no longer the cold-hearted bastard...and he's in love for the first time in his life...love these two...Marri's taking Jules to meet the family...that should be "fun"...can't wait...

Now, Tam and Daniel...yeah, Daniel was so wrong to jump to the wrong conclusions about her...but jealousy and possessiveness will do that to you when you find "the one"...and Tam's the one for him...glad she made his butt seek counselling because after awhile...possessiveness is not so "cute" and can be downright frightening if not checked...both of them have abandonment issues...but Tam...what was she thinking playing with fire like that...bring her cousin to her man's establishment like that...knowing he's a fool in love already...glad he turned the tables on her...she loves her "China Man"...that's for sure...but the games need to stop...forgive that man...put both of yourselves out of misery...and make the heck up...you know you want to...besides...there's a baby on the way...

Sorry I haven't been reviewing lately...but as I said...no time...but I "stealing" today to play catch up...now I'm addicted...girl, your stories are the bomb...loving this...now off to read more...

Author's Response:

LOL love your review!  Keep them coming when you can.  I know about work keeping you busy.  I've been working 12 hour days and updateing has been a challenge.  Plus my son's getting married in two weeks.  Hey, but I love the Chamber and I do the best I can.  Hopefully I can update today and fix the size of my cast pix.  More to come soon!  (hopefully)

Title: Chapter 28: Chapter 26 Ignorance and Abstinance

Sometimes I wish I was independently wealthy...then I could devote all my time to one of my favorite hobbies...reading...gosh, I love this story...I think it's because the characters are so real and relatable...they are not perfect by any stretch of the imagination...but they are dealing with very real issues that we sometimes in life have to deal with...count me in as a Seleah and Joseph lover...gosh, I heart those two...Joseph is such a good man and he in my opinion a very inspirational character in this story...I can't wait until we get more of Joseph and Seleah...

Jamal finally got his eyes opened...bet he appreciates the stability that Joseph brings into his life...after meeting his sperm donor...he now knows things could be much worse...I was embarrassed for Seleah...but that's one of the pitfalls of youth...appearances mean everything and content of character means little...but Seleah has done a very good job of raising her sons...they're basically good kids with a strong moral fiber...good to know they have some positive male influences in their lives now...though Dem has had it his life...Gerald is a great father...and I hope Dem comes to term with what he learns soon and welcome that man back in his life...

So glad that Amaris and Jules finally got some time to get reacquainted...glad you didn't gloss over the impact a new baby would have in any new relationship...but I have to agree with Amaris...don't trust Patsy as far as I could throw her...that crazy woman have devilment on her mind...Jules needs to be careful where she is concerned...

Can't wait for more...probably won't review again until this weekend...but I wanted you know how much I appreciate your efforts...more, more please!!!

Author's Response:

thanks so much for the wonderful review!  Yes a lot is going on.  Jamal was disappointed, but now he knows what his father is really like.  More is coming soon!

Title: Chapter 20: Chapter 17 The Truth Will Make You Free II

I'm back again, Brenda...another week of three hours a night of sleep...but I've had my Friday evening nap...lol...

These last two chapters have been gorgeous...your attention to detail in fleshing out your characters is amazing...I'm "there" if you will...and I'm loving the sweet love story developing between Joseph and Seleah...I know I've had some unkind words to say about Seleah in the past...but you've shown me a very real human fallacy of judging a person before you actually get to know them...and I'm enjoying the journey of self-discovery of the real Seleah...gosh, I just want to give her a hug...the Reverend Alonzo really did a number on this child...and if you ask me...he got off a little too lightly...I don't believe that Paula for all her short-comings as mother would have allowed a supposed "man of God" to do this to any of her daughters if she hadn't like so many people had misplaced trust in people who are supposed to be there to serve our spiritual needs...it's a shame that some people take advantage of their position in the lives of people to do so much damage...so much damage that it still shapes their lives even today...this is such a deep, yet heart-breaking reality of life...and it makes Seleah a very sympathetic character...so much so that I'm rooting for her to be shown the way...and I believe that Joseph is the one to do just that...love how he is courting her...yes, he wants her physically...but I'm glad that you didn't have him give into his base needs and decided to concentrate on him wooing her instead and respecting her as a person...something that no man has ever done for her...she's such a fragile flower now...in spite of the rough edges she displays to protect her heart...I truly believe that Joe is "the one" for her...and can't wait to read about their date...her first ever "real" one...that was a nice touch...

I love how the Mannings and Arringtons are coming together as one big happy family...sure, there have been bumps along the road...but that's what makes for a great drama...me likey very much...yes, every boy needs a strong male role model in life to become a real man...glad Jules and Joseph are being that for Seleah's boys...if I haven't told you lately...I love this story...now, back to being pushy...need more...I have two whole days before I start the weekly grind again...so hoping for at least one new update...kudos to you!!!

Author's Response:

Thanks so much for the in depth update.  I have met a few Seleah's in my lifetime.  It is sad, but as long as we have life here on earth, we can heal.  I will try to get out one more chapter before the weekend is over.  When children are traumatized, it affects everything and everyone that is close to them.  Paula didn't trust any man around her children, but she never imagined that something like this would happen IN the church. The church is supposed to be a sanctuary.  Seleah has been carrying this secret a long time, but its about to all come out.  More is coming soon....I promise!

Title: Chapter 21: Chapter 18 Let Me Lead You To The Light

My heart is going to break for both Dem and Seleah when the ugly truth comes out...how could Walker's wife not know just what kind of "man" she was married to...he was a pervert...under the guise of a "man of the cloth"...I'm more than sure that Seleah wasn't his only young victim...there had to be many, many, more...and I don't buy that she didn't "know"...she only chose to believe and "see" what she wanted to believe...I only hope that Dem can somehow forgive his mother and Gerald Jackson for trying to protect him from such a horrible truth...I also hope that Dem realizes his mother is as much a victim in all this as he is...yes, she lied about his parentage...but she didn't do it maliciously...she was ashamed because of the burden that Walker forced her to carry all these years when she herself was no more than a child who was trusting and a grown-a** man took advantage of her trust...the saddest part in this is he made her feel worthless as a human being...and stripped her of any chance to have a normal, loving relationship with a man because of her trust issues...Joseph has his work cut out for him...Seleah is damaged...but perhaps the only bright spot in Dem's confrontation with his mother will be that she finally releases some of that burden and pent-up rage she has been carrying for long and get help so she can start to heal from her childhood trauma...

Love this story...can't wait for more...superb as always...oh, and I loved Joseph's and Seleah's first date...so sweet...

Author's Response:

"There are none so blind as those who will not see" is a quote that applies to Mrs. Walker.  She immediately blamed her 13 year old son for the act without any knowledge of the situation.  It was obvious to her what the truth must be, but she grabbed onto something that was more acceptable to her.

Joseph does have his work cut out for him and when this thing blows up for all to see, it will be even more challenging than it is right now.

More shocking things will be revealed...soon!
