I love Jane Austen and am discovering that I am somewhat of a SciFi geek. I love Doctor Who and Star Trek, but I am beginning to realize that I might be drawn to them because they both feature strong women of color in Uhura and Martha Jones. I was excited to find this community, as I always crave fiction centered around three dimensional women of color.
Spock discovers Valentines Day.
Set during the Season 2 Star Trek TOS episode "Mirror, Mirror." Montgomery Scott doesn't know how anyone can survive in such a harsh universe. When he finds that all of his colleagues are rogues, fiends and villains, one person remains constant.

Story inspired by the TOS episode The Alternative Factor. Charlene deals with the aftermath of Lazarus actions and is comforted by Mr. Scott.
Following a particularly tragic away mission, Spock finds that fulfulling his duty as First Officer and being in a romantic relationship with a certain lieutenant is not as easy as he once thought.

Summary: When stuck indoors with auxiliary power during a raging storm on an away mission on Thelos IV, Uhura suggests some interesting games to keep tensions under control.
